Scripture: Ephesians 4 v 11 - 13: "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
For quite a few years now the Lord Jesus Christ has been impressing two tasks upon me. He wants me to use all He has revealed and taught me to bring unity to the Body of Christ and direction to the Church.
To do this I have to think outside the box and see the bigger picture of what He wants to achieve. Unity is seen in a flock of birds flying in formation, following a leader in one mind. They have purpose and direction. Our leader is Jesus Christ, in harmony with the Holy Spirit who guides us, and when we are correctly submitted there is unity.
He has put apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in His Body to guide the flock into one holding pen. But the flock are running hither and yon to find edible, credible food but the only food that sustains them is the pure, unadulterated Bread of Life.
The Bread of Life today has been cut, added to, twisted out of shape and overcooked. The sheep are crying out for simple truth they can trust in but they are getting the warmed over doctrines of men that sow confusion, lies, division and leave them empty and dissatisfied. There is a desperate seeing after truth among those who do not want to compromise with the world.
I have written much about the errors of the Toronto Blessing or Catch the Fire. This strange fire has been raging since the late 1980's and many have been burned by it. This doctrine emerged after the false doctrine of commanding angels to find parking, bring people to church, bring in finances, find jobs, heal the sick etc. emerged in the early 80's, and it still prevails today.
Jesus showed us that the angels responding to these commands were not the angels of Heaven, but fallen angels who most times did the opposite of what was commanded. Just these two false doctrines have brought turmoil to the Body, and terrible divisions. Jesus told me when we began fighting against the bad angels that they were bringing other false doctrines with them. He said to me every where the angels go Toronto is sure to follow. And He spoke the truth. These two big influences on the charismatic church have been a wrecking ball.
The work of the ministry of Jesus is to edifying the Body and for perfecting the saints, those who are born again. The Roman Catholic Church will make a dead person a saint after they have performed two miracles post mortem! This is spiritualism and sorcery at work so scrap those dead saints for starters.
The perfecting of the saints is achieved by the reading of the Word, and correctly applying it to our lives. God speaks to us through His Word and leads us to the proper use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. When this is harmonious in a ministry, God does great things there. When this is abused or misused then the Holy Spirit withdraws and to keep up the momentum the leaders have to manufacture excitement and entertainment or the sheep will wander away.
So the big picture is all that is going on throughout the world. Interfaith is very acceptable to many churches today. Christians are calling for tolerance towards other faiths, and surely it's all the same God, just different names? Actually, no! Interfaith is the well-advanced core movement for the One World Church ruled by the Antichrist. It starts with compromise and ends with serious loss.
The only people outside of this group in the End Times will be Christians and Jews who are not willing to compromise their belief in One True God. Jesus declared that He is the only way to the Father. All other ways lead to destruction.
The first commandment given to Moses by God is Exodus 20 v 3- 5: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;"
Pray to be loosed for any ancestral curse brought on your family from any ancestor who broke this commandment. It will remove spiritual blockages in the same way that straightening a kink out of a hosepipe will restore the flow of water. Your blessings could be all jammed up because an ancestor was a Freemason or secretly worshipped Buddha. Revitalise your life to flow with the flock.
Another doctrine that brings terrible division is going backwards to living under the Mosaic or Judaic Law. Jesus died to do away with Old Testament law and bring in forgiveness of sin by grace. Christians now keeping Shabbat and all the Jewish Feasts, and applying the Jewish laws are in a backslidden state and are bringing confusion to the church. Your names have been blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life. Repent and do the first works to be saved.
We need to urgently do the work of the ministry so that those who are united in the Body will find the true direction to maintain their integrity before God. Then we will come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Prayer: Father God, these are difficult and dangerous times leading us to know that Your Son Jesus will return soon. He will catch up His Body to join Him in the sky above Earth. It will be a united body with one faith, one truth, one direction, one purpose - to glorify Jesus and crown Him with many crowns! Father, gather us together in Your love. In Jesus' name. Amen.
