Scripture: Hebrews 4 v 12 - 16: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
The Word of God which is THE HOLY BIBLE is quick. The word 'quick' means 'alive' so we understand that The Holy Spirit brings the Word to life within us - remember that Jesus is also called "The Word" so the more we read the Bible the Living Jesus comes alive within us in a powerful way. We have invited Jesus into our heart but to see growth and experience the life within we need to meaningfully and intelligently study the Bible.
The Word is sharper than any two-edged sword - it cuts both ways and gets down deep. It especially divides the soul from the spirit. Why do we need this separation?
Our spirits come from God and are eternal as God is. Our spirits will never cease to exist but their final destination is either Heaven or Hell depending on where our soul is at. SOS means save our souls. Why do our souls need saving or rescuing?
Where did they come from? What happened to put them in danger?
When Satan fell from Heaven he took The Bride of God's Son hostage as leverage! She was brainwashed into believing that Satan was her true husband. God's Son chose to be the Ransom for her. To be exchanged for her. When she heard His voice she demanded He be slain. They were all spirit beings. Satan removed His head and shattered His Body into billions of fragments.
Those fragments are the Gentiles and each one is called a soul. We were held captive in his realm our dead spirits were clothed in this unnatural shell called a soul. The soul consists of the will, the mind and the emotions - what I would refer to as the Devil's Playground. These are his swings and roundabouts and we are his playthings.
Our souls became tormented, ill, oppressed, fearful, hurt, rejected, raped, molested, drunk, drugged, godless, shattered, comatose, and dead. They became brainwashed into believing that each identical soul was now different colours, religions, creeds, philosophies, genders, with different nations, languages, flags and cultures. All of these must be defended with hate and war, pride and patriotism, unto death.
By this time The Bride was likewise dead and shattered, decapitated, no longer needed as leverage. Her fragments were likewise subjected to terrible suffering.
God was busy preparing Earth as a habitation for the broken souls and dead spirits to be brought back to life. He needed to assess the extent of the damage. He had received back His Son's head and the fragments of His Body in seven containers. He had the Bride's fragments in twelve smaller containers. Satan kept her head as a trophy.
These souls became the people whom our Father foreigners. He decided to make us a body of flesh out of clay. He breathed life into His first human called Adam. Satan was busy copying Him making his demons into tribes of people.
The Garden of Eden resembled Heaven to try to stir the memories of Adam and Eve who had no recollection of Him in Heaven. He warned them not to eat of the Tree in the midst of the garden. Before long Satan appeared in that Tree in serpent form. He persuaded Eve to try this forbidden fruit which she liked. She told Adam to have some too not knowing that all the sin and evil of the torments in Satan's domain would now be unleashed and his demon tribes would live among them.
This world is very soulish and we have many signposts to the soul realm, even soul music, soul doctors, soul ties, soul mates etc etc. If something touches our souls we empty our wallets to meet that emotional response. This is called humanitarianism which brings in much finance for charities, research and causes.
This suits the enemy and his mind games. He is, after all, the author of all disease, confusion and distress of people so it amuses him greatly to see humans looking for their own solutions. There have of course been amazing medical miracles but even doctors cannot explain how flesh knits together.
God made Earth and then bodies of flesh for the tormented and now evil, God-rejecting souls to manifest in order to reveal what could be done to save them. First the Law was given to make them know right from wrong.
Judges, kings, prophets were anointed and sent to inform, persuade, warn, teach, and explain to souls individually or in groups that there are consequences for rejection of the authority and love of God.
Then the Saviour Jesus came to Earth. He had died for His Bride:-
Rev 13 v 7 - 9: "And it was given unto him (the Beast) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear."
This passage above refers to the Beast who is part of the unholy trinity of the Antichrist, the Beast and the False Prophet. They make war against the born again believers, called saints, to overpower them. The only people who don't worship the Antichrist are those whose names are in the Lamb's Book of Life. The Lamb who was slain before we ever came to Earth.
What happened to us and to Him in that realm of Satan is replayed here on Earth over the last 6000 years. His death and resurrection outwitted the enemy, Satan, once for all time. He is the Living Word who can now divide the terrors and torments and evil in our souls from our pure and eternal spirits. When we are born again our comatose spirits become alive to God again!
1 Corinthians 2 v 7 - 8: "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."
The princes of this world are Satan and his demons. They had no clue that Jesus Christ could follow them into Hell and beat Satan up in front of them. Jesus took the keys of Hell and Death from him. Then He resurrected back to life being seen by many. Satan was defeated and outwitted but he still had that trophy, control over the mind of His Bride to keep rejecting her Messiah, her Bridegroom, her only hope.
John 3 v 28 - 29: " Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled."
John the Baptist, who Jesus said was also Elijah, recognized that the mission of Jesus, the Bridegroom, was to win back His Bride, Israel. He rejoiced that she was hearing His Voice, and some souls were now actually listening to Him. She is still in a spiritual coma.
The state of coma renders the soul unable to respond to people or any stimuli. Spiritual coma renders the soul unable to respond to God. Because of the brainwashing done to us we reject our Heavenly Father and all the love He yearns to give us.
In Ecclesiastes 1 v 10 - 11: "Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after."
We have no memory of the former things that happened before the foundation of the world yet God has put many scriptures in the Word to try jog our memories.
Ephesians 1 v 3 - 4: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:"
Jesus says in John 3 v 3 We must be born again or we cannot perceive the kingdom of Heaven.
No other way or religion can do what Jesus has already done. He has saved the souls of all mankind - but each man and woman must agree, choose, desire to accept that salvation for themselves. He will never force anyone to accept Him but makes sure that all who come to Him will never be rejected.
He knows every thought, temptation, motive of our hearts and He experienced it all too. This makes Him our Great High Priest able to help whenever we call on Him.
So the Word is alive as Jesus is alive and it is necessary for our salvation that the soul and spirit be split apart. This is like splitting the atom and having a nuclear blast. It removes every brainwashed false memory that bedevils us and stops us from the full blessing and power of the Holy Spirit. When our soul is divided from our spirit, our spirit is released from coma to fully enter in to the abundant life God has promised us.
The Word of God has the desired effect. It shines into our hearts and reveals hidden, forgotten memories that need to be recalled and worked through so we can be healed and set free. Children that have been sexually abused often only recall this 20 or more years later, when they are mature and can have proper counselling. The Lord brings it back to their memories at the proper time. This is when the soul gets divided from the spirit. When they get their life back.
Prayer: Heavenly Father Your plan for souls was simple yet profound. Rescue them all, send a Deliverer, bring them back to life. The enemy opposes this plan constantly. Father, open our eyes so that we may outwit him and be useful helpers to rescue the lost. Draw us to the Word and divide our compromised souls from our heart's desire. Raise up an army of believers O Lord to fight the good fight and see Your victory for everyone of them. In Jesus' name. Amen.
