Scriptures: "Isaiah 53 v 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
Galatians 5 v 19 - 21: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
All over the world rebellion in its various forms is escalating at a rapid rate. Every sin being committed is an act of rebellion against God, so when this unimaginable total is reached, we can understand His need to reset the system. As He did when He instructed Noah to build the Ark.
To reset His Kingdom on Earth, The Father must first remove the righteous people like Noah and his family was taken out of harm's way in the Ark. This time there are a huge number of people to be rescued. It's called the Rapture, the "catching away" when the Holy Spirit lifts us off the Earth to meet Jesus in the sky above Earth. Another type of Ark will be provided.
When we are safe the evildoers, sinners, rebels, barbaric militants, rockers and sniffers of Almighty God will have His wrath unleashed upon them. They will receive the Mark of the Beast, the logo of Satan upon forehead or right hand. Anyone taking this mark is automatically bound for the Lake of Fire. Those who refuse the mark will be martyred and saved by the Lord for eternal life in Heaven.
Let’s face it - we are all born rebellious, and have to be trained by our parents and teachers using the rod and other disciplines, until we gain self-control. Nowadays corporal punishment is unlawful, so we have to find other ways of teaching our children manners, respect, obedience and kindness.
Satan was the first rebel, the first one who rebelled against God’s order and commandments so bringing upon himself eternal banishment from the presence of the Lord. This is the fate that awaits all those unrepentant sinners, who either think that death is the end of the road, or that a merciful, loving God would be lenient upon them.
Satan’s nature is proud, rebellious, jealous, angry, bitter, murdering, lying, deceiving, controlling, manipulative, tormenting and fearful. He is full of evil, darkness, witchcraft and occult power, and his intentions concerning the human race are to cause us to rebel against God so we would remain in his clutches. He uses and abuses us to torment our Father as it is his only leverage.
We see Israel fighting valiantly against the supreme rebellion of Hamas, Hezbollah, Iranian rulers, Yemen, and others. They are the lone army of justice against decades of terrorism but are the ones condemned for killing the terrorist regimes. Their 10 day destruction of the High Command of Hezbollah this past week or so, has the people of Iran, Syria and Israel dancing for joy and partying in the streets.
Satan's ultimate goal is to overthrow the Godhead and usurp the Universe as his kingdom. It's his only alternative to eternity in the Lake of Fire, so he is playing for very high stakes and we are the chips he is gambling with. Our only escape is to follow Jesus Christ and be born again.
The demons and fallen angels have inherited his evil nature and delight in inflicting it upon us. He has a head start because we are all born into sin because of the fall of Adam and Eve, and have to conquer his sin in us before we can enter into the righteousness of the Lord.
Jesus had a solution to the sin problem; He conquered sin and Satan on the Cross, and made a way for us to come to the Father through the power of His shed Blood. In 1 Corinthians 2 it says that if Satan had known what Jesus would accomplish on the Cross, He would still be alive today. Jesus conquered all rebellion to enable us to submit to the love and goodness of God our Father.
Jesus has given us the power to overcome Satan, too, and we need to exercise this power and muscle against the enemy. Satan can be very discouraging against anyone who first tries to withstand him, but it is all bluff. Even a little child can put him to flight because the power is in the name of Jesus and not in us.
Satan aims his strongest attack at teenagers, as they are most vulnerable when they are becoming independent from parental restraints. Rebellious music, clothes and culture (peer pressure) as well as movies, drugs, discos, raves, sex, and hairstyles, moulds teenagers in a certain way that gives Satan the least line of resistance from them. This bunch of rebels are now referred to as Woke.
We need to pray earnestly for our children from an early age to protect them from the wiles of Satan. Teach them the right way to live, and even if they wander off the track for a while to see how the other half lives, they will wander right back to righteous living when the sin and evil offends them sufficiently.
Rebellion, teenage or otherwise, means a total lack of submission to the Lord Jesus Christ, or to any kind of authority. Its battle cry is “Do your own thing!” If children are not disciplined in a Godly way from an early age, they become spoiled (i.e. ruined, destroyed) and the seed of rebellion takes root - the crop is harvested in about 14 years time. Parents will cry: What did we do to deserve such rebellious children? The answer is - you failed to discipline them properly and teach them respect. Sometimes, even if they were taught correctly, they still rebel through peer pressure.
Today we face more than teenage rebellion, as the spirit of the Antichrist grows globally, bringing lawlessness, anarchy, violent protests, religious militant groups that kill any who are not as fanatical as themselves. This Antichrist will turn millions of Christians away from the truth through false doctrines, leading to the Apostasy, or falling away.
Jesus wants to prevent this happening with every fibre of His being. He wants His Body to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Most people shy away from the unvarnished truth because people want to hear only the good, sweet, loving and kind things God has promised us. They do not want to hear about the dangers of falling into error.
So, being a watchman appointed by the Father, and not by man or self, I have the task of laying it on thick at times. It seems like being a voice in the wilderness crying make straight paths for the Lord, He is coming soon. So few even heed it. So many carry on as if its of no importance. Until the day comes when all Hell breaks loose, and people are desperately seeking answers.
Many blame God for the state of the world. How can a loving Father not stop murder, rape, sex slavery, drug cartels, corruption, war, the Antichrist, Satan, demons, all evil? Actually, God so loves the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, has eternal life. Jesus Christ is the Rock that we can escape into and no matter what happens in the world, we will be saved out of it. Even if we die.
The Spirit of Rebellion, when it is visible, is easy to see, because as it says in 1 Samuel 15 v 23: "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” In the Old Testament a witch was burned to death, and an idolater would be stoned. Sin causes death. Many Christians are practicing forms of witchcraft and paganism as a substitute for the Holy Spirit who has left them because of their lawlessness.
The problem with all this mess is that man has a free will. Why did God do that? Because He loves us and wants us to love Him in total freedom. Not coercion, or anything like that, but because we want to. Let us be sure that we love and worship our Father in Spirit and truth as He accepts nothing less.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I repent of any rebellion in my spirit, body and soul, Father, and I ask forgiveness and pardon for this. Please restore me to the way You created me to be. I dedicate my children to You and pray for them to walk in truth and peace before You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
