"For those who doubt the ultimate intentions of
Hamas, the organization that rules the Gaza Strip, Hamas minister Fathi Hammad
made their goals crystal clear in a recent public address, stating that first
Hamas will eradicate Israel and then convert the world to Islam.
Hammad boasted:
We shall liberate our land, Allah willing. We shall
liberate our Al-Aqsa Mosque, and our cities and villages, as a prelude to the
establishment of the future Islamic Caliphate. Therefore, brothers and sisters,
we are at the threshold of a global Islamic civilization era.
Hammad then urged Fatah, which runs the Palestinian
Authority, to join him in eradicating the Jewish presence in Israel, saying:
'We just sit and talk to the Jews. Enough with that! Come
join us, the legions of the believers, which have translated the Koran into
victory, the law of the Prophet's ancestors into glory, and Jihad into
liberation... We shall be coming with a third Intifada, an armed revolution, a
Jihadi revolution, Allah willing… Gaza and the West Bank will fuse together,
along with our brothers within the 1948 borders, in a second Battle of Hattin,
in order to uproot the Jews.'
The battle of Hattin was the victory of Saladin, the
Muslim general, over the Christian Crusader forces in 1187.
Hammad also said that any member of the Hamas Army who
does not join morning prayers will be fired."
From the days of Pharoah in the Book of Exodus, who
enslaved Israel and saw the power of Almighty God defend and protect her and
do mighty miracles to show us all that Israel is the apple of His eye, to
Hitler and his gas chambers; to Hamas and their evil fatwas - they fear who
Israel is.
Israel has been chosen of God before the foundation of
this world, along with all those who believe in Jesus Christ as Saviour of the
world. Ephesians 1 v 4: "According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before him in love."
Many Jews now believe that Jesus is their Messiah, the
rest of them will know it when the Antichrist declares himself God in the
rebuilt Temple. Rebuilding has already begun.
Israel was given The Ark of the Covenant through which
Moses and Joshua were guided by God through the wilderness to the Promised Land
- Eretz Israel. The Ark was so powerful that it brought down the walls of
Jericho so thick that 6 chariots could stand side by side across their width.
The power of the Ark did not cause the walls to crumble
into rubble, they went straight down into the ground like a slice of toast into
a toaster. All the tribes feared the advance of Mighty Israel.
Jesus Christ was born a Jew. John 1 says He came unto His
own but His own received Him not. He became the New Covenant of the Jews as
promised in Jeremiah 31 v 31-33:
"Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will
make a new covenant with the house of Israel......Not according to the covenant
I made with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to bring
them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant they brake, although I was a
husband unto them saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will
make with the house of Israel; .....I will put my law in their inward parts,
and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my
people."
For this, Satan hates Israel, and all Christians who know
Jesus. Jesus is the husband of Israel and the Church is His Body.
Jesus is the Bridegroom as declared by John the Baptist
in John 3 v 29:
"He that hath the bride is the bridegroom..."
John the Baptist has just declared that Jesus is the Lamb
of God as he introduces Jesus to the Jews and then refers to Him as the
bridegroom.
Many years later the Apostle John was shown the bride,
the Lamb's wife, as the New Jerusalem consisting of the 12 tribes of Israel.
Revelation 21 v 9ff.
Satan wanted to destroy the Bride from time immemorial
because her existence meant he could never achieve his goal of exalting his
throne above the stars of God. (Isaiah 14).
Since this world was formed Satan has tormented Israel
and tried by every means to wipe her out. His latest plan is through Hamas who
want to eradicate her and make this world an Islamic Caliphate. We are seeing
the rise of the False Prophet who along with the Beast and the Antichrist will
form an unholy trinity bringing great tribulation on this earth. Revelation 16 v 13: "And I saw three
unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the
mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils working
miracles."
Those who follow the Lamb will be safe.
Prayer: Heavenly Father the Body of Christ will be truly
known by their love for Israel because Jesus' love for her will be in every member
of His body, every fibre of His being. Every enemy will be defeated by Your
power and might. Let us pray for the peace of Jerusalem daily. In Jesus' name.
