Scripture:
Revelation 3 v 7: "And to the angel of the Church of
Philadelphia write; These things saith he who is holy, he who is true, he that
hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and
no man openeth."
Isaiah 22 v 22: "And the key of the house of David
will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he
shall shut, and none shall open."
The most immediate understanding of the function of a key
is an object that locks or unlocks doors or boxes. The Key of David also does
that but it specifically unlocks revelations and mysteries.
It opens up our minds to receive hidden knowledge from
the Holy Spirit. The secrets of God become accessible to those who are anointed
Intercessors. This hidden knowledge is not hidden or secret in an occult way,
it is just protected information that is not given to everybody, but is kept
for those who seek the deeper things of God.
This invisible Key is a spiritual one and to be able to
use it you need to belong to the Church of Philadelphia. This is one of the
seven churches Jesus wrote letters to in Revelations 2 and 3. These 7 churches
make up the whole Body of Christ present and alive on Earth throughout church
history.
The Church of Philadelphia is a spiritual entity that describes
those who belong to it no matter where they live or fellowship. They are the
people who live pure Christian lives without rebuke before God.
They are Intercessors anointed and appointed by the Holy
Spirit before the Earth was formed. The true prophets and apostles belong to
the Church of Philadelphia fulfilling those things that are initiated by our
Lord Jesus Christ.
To those faithful saints who lay down their lives for the
power of His resurrection to be manifested, the Key of David is given to assist
and enhance the revelation of the mysteries of God. Many of these are to be
found in the Prophetic Fire blog (http://www.propheticfire.co.za)
published for those who hunger for strong meat and intimate knowledge of truth.
In the two scriptures quoted there is another specific
function of the Key of David - God opens things with it that no one can shut.
So when God raises up a ministry or a person to perform His will, no matter
what people may think or say, if this work is from God leave it alone or you
may find yourself fighting against God.
When my ministry "The Church of Philadelphia"
started in 1983 I was completely unprepared for it. It was the last thing on my
mind. I had just withdrawn from a ministry by the Lord's instruction as He had
removed its anointing for disobedience. I was seeking direction from Him when
He told me to start my own ministry and He named it The Church of Philadelphia.
My husband was part of the disobedience and he took my
withdrawal from that church as rebellion and I was branded. I was placed under
"house arrest" and my car keys were removed. By my husband. How he
fought against and persecuted that which God had opened. His church and our
marriage disintegrated but what God opened continues to this day.
God gave me the anointing that is upon the Key of David.
He also uses it to shut that which is fruitless. He used it to show us all the
treasures that are in His house. Spiritual treasures in abundance because we
were faithful to His Word and used what we wanted out of His treasures wisely.
Many have found fault with the absolute freedom that we
have. The Lord has also said that some even pray for my death believing that
would please Him. What has been a guiding line is to see the counterfeits that
Satan dangles to entice people and find the true Godly original creation God
made and run with that.
If spiritualism, fortune telling, astral projection,
psychic mediums, familiar spirits, homosexuality, alcohol, drugs, nicotine,
witchcraft, etc are all counterfeit practices of Satan who is unable to
originate anything, then what is the true anointed God-created original? I am
going to let the Lord show you and reveal those to you Himself.
Who knows if you are one who is chosen to be part of the
end time world revival. God is busy raising up those who will be the ministers
of this coming revival. The present Toronto Catch the Fire "revival"
is a man-made, demon fuelled counterfeit of the true revival to come. Our God
will shut it down in His time but He is presently using it to separate the
sheep from the goats and the wheat from the chaff.
Make sure that everything you are experiencing is coming
from the One True God our Father and that you are not deceived. Jesus warned us
about deception and many false Christs. When the true Jesus Christ comes every
eye will see Him.
The Key of David is not for everyone but it may be for
you. Be obedient, humble and submitted to Jesus and He will lift you up into
your rightful place at the proper time.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for all Your treasures
and especially for the Key of David that makes so many good things possible.
Teach us to respect your original gifts and to shun the false ones. We want to
be at the forefront of the revival to come to bring glory to Your name. In
Jesus' name. Amen.
