Scripture: John 16 v 15
"All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore
said I, that He shall take of Mine and show it unto you."
- Jesus wants us to learn a deeper truth about prayer
today. He wants us to expect the Father to reveal things to us that need prayer
and ministry.
- Jesus within our hearts owns everything that Our Father
has. When we are struggling with problems we pray superficially for those needs
to be met. We need to ask for a revelation from God for the spiritual blockage
behind our problem.
- For example, your problem may be Cancer in you or a
family member. All the doctors and chemo have not eliminated it. Cancer grows
on a spirit within you called Bitterness. Its only when you discover who you
need to forgive, and do it, that you can be delivered of bitterness and be
healed of Cancer.
- You may be struggling financially. This could be caused
by a generational curse. The sins of the fathers are visited to the 3rd and 4th
generation. If one of your ancestors was a con man or thief it could result in
poverty in your life. Pray for the Lord to forgive that thief and release your
finances from that curse.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, these are just two examples of things
that bind us, please help us pray intelligently and ask You to reveal what lies
behind our problems. There is power in praying into the depth of our needs and
we love You for Your help. Amen.
