Scripture: Joshua 1 v 8
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy
mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe
to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
- True success follows those who apply Biblical knowledge
to every facet of their lives. God's Word is the only sure standard for us to
rally around.
- Many worldly people say the Bible is full of
contradictions but after 40 years of studying its pages I have yet to find
anything contrary to truth and righteousness.
- The Bible is written over a 4000 year time span and
consists of 66 books by different authors which all harmonise and confirm all
the others. There is nothing to equal that on this planet. The Bible is
inspired and protected by our Father Himself for truth and accuracy.
- Its the only Holy Book in which the Author and Finisher
of our faith is still alive and who will live forever. Jesus said He had come
to give us life more abundantly.
- If abundance is more than enough, how much is more
abundance? Only by living by His precepts and being honourable, ethical, moral
and honest will we know His abundance in our lives.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are God's Word made flesh so if I
follow You through the Bible daily I will have everything You promised. Help me
to read and do all the Word says and leave out what You frown upon. Amen.
