Scripture: Luke 20 v 25
"And He said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar
the things which be Caesar's and unto God the things which be Gods."
- Jesus is telling us there are Two Kingdoms with two
different Heads. The one is the true Kingdom of God but Caesar represents the counterfeit
kingdom of satan.
- God's Kingdom is full of love for His people and
rejection of evil. Satan's Kingdom is controlled by lust and love of
money. We must choose which kingdom we
will belong to. And these days the lines are very blurred.
- Christians journey through this world as tourists from
another place. The power of the world is observed but shunned. We are a New
Creation from heaven and should no longer consider ourselves "only
human" which is a cop out.
- The World system is controlled by Satan from Hollywood
to ISIS and everything in between. Drugs, booze, parties, entertainment,
religions, perversions, celebs, sports
and fads are its posters for fun and excitement. Trying to live in both kingdoms
is impossible.
- Make your choice and run with it, but know the final
destination of each kingdom is totally different. The narrow way leads to life,
the broad way leads to destruction. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
and no-one comes to the Father except through Him.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we choose You and Your kingdom over
all the kingdoms of this world. We want to live forever with You. We shun this
evil world and all its temptations to sin. Help us share Your truth with those
who have lost their way. Amen.
