The Suffering Church
Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 1 v 4 - 6:
"So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure: which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you."
All over the world today, and especially in that "ocean of Islamic peace" called the Middle East, Christians are being persecuted, martyred, and tortured to change their allegiance from Jesus Christ to follow their bloodthirsty murdering hateful god.
Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He hates war, evil, sickness and death. He is not the author or creator of the sorrows and trials we go through. His enemy, and ours, is the wily satan, who pretends not to exist, is to blame for the evil of this world.
In Ephesians 6 we are informed that we wrestle not with human beings; meaning that our problems do not originate on the physical level. We wrestle against spiritual beings we (usually) cannot see, who manipulate circumstances to our disadvantage.
These spirit beings control human beings through many religious, ritualistic, mind-controlling, blackmailing methods. A simple control is through astrology. Many heads of state of huge countries never make a decision without a deep examination of their astrolgical chart and horoscope predictions for the most auspicious moment to conduct affairs of state.
In Isaiah 44 v 25 the Lord says it is He "that frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish." Then we wonder at the mess the world leaders are making and its getting worse by the minute!
On the African continent most of the leaders consult witchdoctors to throw the bones and other strange rituals to conduct their rulership over their people. Then we see the continent struggling against corruption, war, poverty, famine, rape, mutilation, drought and plagues. The leaders of nations are consulting their ancestors (spirit guides) for wisdom and knowledge and all of these practices are an abomination to Almighty God.
If they or anyone else are not guided by the truth that comes only from Jesus, they are guided by the lies and deceit of the Devil. There is no grey area. The one they submit to and follow is their master. By their fruits you shall know them. The fruit of the Holy Spirit manifesting through the lives of Christians is love, Joy, peace, patience, meekness, goodness, faith and self-control. This is the nature of Jesus who indwells us.
The fruit of those who are in the flesh, ie not born again Christians, is adultery, sexual sins, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, arguments, anger, heresy, envy, murder, corruption, drunkenness, addiction to drugs, warmongering, blackmail, tyranny and lies. This is the nature of Satan the invisible oppressor.
The closer they get to elections the more "holy" politicians may sound, but unless they come out and say - I follow Jesus Christ and Him only will I serve - they are the blind leaders of the blind.
And the Christians and Jews get caught in the midst and suffer persecution and tribulation. It would be a lie for me to say things will get better on this Earth but this I know - Jesus is always with us and He protects us and provides for us, and if we suffer martyrdom He stands to receive us into His kingdom. We will soon be with Him for eternity so we need to endure the increasing persecution with courage and calm.
Not only does persecution strengthen Christians spiritually, as Iron Curtain Russia discovered to their shock, but those who cause pain to His people will receive the manifestation of His righteous judgment and anger. In His perfect time. If people lie and twist words to bring Christians down they must understand that the One who saved them will repay it to them. It is not for us to call for vengeance, our God fights for us.
The battle is in the spirit realm where evil spirits of high rank plot the downfall of the human race because the whole human spectrum is the manifestation of the Body of Christ (the Church) and the manifestation of the Bride (Israel). This is the only way they can hurt our God and make Him weep. Here on earth the fastest way to shatter a family and bend it to your will is to kidnap and threaten the life of their child/children. Now who originated that strategy?
The Devil who kidnapped the Bride before this Earth was formed, causing Jesus to be her Ransom and take her place. Then the evil one shattered them both into billions of fragments, each of which has become a soul implanted in a body of flesh here on Earth. Genesis is not the beginning of the story, but the beginning of the rescue of first the Bride then the Body of Jesus.
Here on earth we have to overcome the torture and trauma of our captivity in satan's realm by choosing to follow the one true God and His Son, Jesus. Those who do are called "Saved" and must do their best to save others still brainwashed against the truth. This is the truth and the full gospel in a nutshell.
Prayer: Father God, we belong to the Suffering Church, even if we don't feel it personally. It is the last days of the awful scenario of shattering of your beloved Son and His Bride, before you put us on this Earth to be healed and restored and to choose You over Your enemy. My prayer is for all eyes to be opened to see the truth and to help others know of Your awesome power and love. In Jesus' name. Amen.
