Scripture: John 2 v 7 - 10: "Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."
The first miracle Jesus did was at a wedding where they had run out of wine. His mother asked Him to assist them so He had the servants fill waterpots with water, which they gave to the steward to taste. He said it was good wine.
We come to God in our sinful state, dried out by the pressures of life. When we call upon the name of Jesus in repentance He forgives our sins and fill us with living water. As we mature in grace and love it becomes new wine. Jesus has miraculously changed us.
No matter what part of the Bridegroom's body we are, we will be changed to be like Him. We must match tissue perfect to be fully able to conform to His Body. When the Rapture occurs, this mature body will leave the Earth to be joined to Jesus, the Head of the Body, in the heavens above Earth. This will complete the Bridegroom's body as the Marriage Feast of the Lamb begins.
The Bride of Christ, as in ancient Jewish marriage ceremonies, must wait in her place, Israel, with her lamp alight in the window. At some point during the Marriage Feast, which lasts for 3 to 7 days, the Bridegroom will come out of His chamber to rescue her from her enemies that want to prevent Jesus from marrying her.
This rescue takes place during the battle of Armageddon, when an army of 200 million soldiers tries to destroy Israel. This army is made up of people from every nation. Coalition army of nations united against Israel. Satan has tried to destroy the Bride of Jesus through jealousy and pride because he wants to rule the universe and she and Jesus are obstacles to his ambition.
He tried to get Jesus to yield to him over forty days in the Wilderness - If You will bow down to me I will give you all the kingdoms of the world. Jesus never disputed his ownership of all nations but He refused to submit Himself to Satan. He tried to completely destroy Israel in 70AD when less than 100 Jews were left alive and were scattered into the rest of the world.
He tried again just before they regained their Holy Land, through the Holocaust when 6 million Jews were murdered by Hitler. But millions survived and came back to the land God gave them, and rebuilt it. The Arab nations have been at war with her ever since. They want every Jew eliminated. Why do they hate her so much? Because they have become pawns in the endgame between Jesus and Satan. Jesus wants His captured Bride returned to Him, Satan wants her dead. Whose side are you on?
All the wars, turbulence, violence, sickness, sorrow, death and destruction is centred around this issue. All the financial upheaval, climate change, politics, plagues and disasters are the Hollywood of the Universe as Jesus Christ, the Son of God brings down His archenemy, Satan, in the final showdown.
Thereafter, He will bring His beloved Bride to the Marriage Supper where He will drink the new wine with her to seal their marriage covenant forever. This Earth was created for this purpose. We are on it for this purpose. We are either part of the Body of Jesus or the Body of the Bride! Only our Father knows where we truly belong.
When Jesus died on the Cross, when the sword pierced His side, Israel was made one with Him again. She was originally taken from His side before the foundation of the world. This was echoed in Eden when Eve was made from Adam's rib.
Everything that happened in Heaven has been replayed on the Earth to fulfil all things. It is nearly over and our best way of knowing is by reading Matthew 24, where Jesus told His disciples everything that had to happen just before He returned. You can tick every block.......He is coming!
So if you want to drink new wine with Jesus at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, follow Him now! Allow Him to change you into His likeness. Know your enemy and refuse to allow him to deceive you. Come out of the world and be separated to Father God to live a pure life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, long after the church is raptured the Spirit and the Bride say , Come Lord Jesus. In Revelations 21 the Angel tells John that the New Jerusalem, consisting of the twelve tribes, is the Lamb's wife. We need to know, believe and act on this truth to love, protect and pray for Israel as You do. Fill us with peace and joy. In Jesus' name. Amen.
