Scripture: Leviticus 10 v 1-2: "And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He commanded them not. And there went out a fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord."
There are different kinds of spiritual fire that need to be understood by man as God gets angry when we falsely discern or teach error. We need to know why Nadab and Abihu died without any opportunity to repent.
They were the sons of Aaron, the High Priest of Israel, Aaron, brother of Moses, who stood with Him against Pharoah. Surely God would be lenient and compassionate on such a family. It is actually because they were in such a position of authority that the Lord had to deal so drastically with them!
Our most important fire is God's holy fire which purifies by destroying anything or anyone who brings an abomination into His sanctuary. It destroyed 450 prophets of Baal who mocked Elijah. It destroyed Aaron's sons too. It will eventually destroy Satan and his angels in a Lake of Fire. Our God is a jealous God who will not allow us to believe falseness.
When the sons of the High Priest offered strange fire it ignited a spiritual evil that has never been quenched. What they did started the ball rolling, so to speak, for false religions; false doctrines; false spirits; to invade the holy place of God. In these times the church has been overrun with them.
In the Old Testament Israel was punished time and again for following false gods; astrology; sorcery; Baal; Molech; false prophets; divination; witchcraft etc. In an effort to stamp out the spread of evil, the perpetrators were put to death.
In the New Testament we get the same warnings but we are no longer under the Law but under God's grace and forgiveness. However, He still strongly condemns the same strange fire appearing in the Church. Strange fire is when the foundations and doctrines of a church are mingled with false teachings and wrong spirits.
The Roman Catholic Church started it with mingling Baal worship and Christianity under Constantine. Semiramis the witch married her son Nimrod and called him a god, Baal, and this story became mingled with Mary, Joseph and Jesus. Christmas Day is actually the birthdate of Nimrod, not Jesus, so right up till today we are traditionally in error from strange fire when we exalt the birth of Jesus on the wrong date.
The rise of Chrislam, the blending of Christianity with Islam, is more strange fire! The god of Islam is Allah and his Koran contains verses of pure hatred against Jews and Christians, including the murder of them as infidels. In 2 Corinthians 6 v 15: "And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"
The Pope was in the USA just over a year ago pushing the agenda of the One World Church under Roman Catholicism. Church leaders and other religious leaders have been working for years on this blending of all religions into a whole new ball of wax. The lake of fire is ready for all those who fall into this evil church. It will persecute true Christians mercilessly for standing against it.
Churches who are running to Catch the Fire meetings overseen by Angel Emma, or Angel Michael, and the laughing madness are aligning themselves with Satan's last days agenda and will suffer the same fate. This Toronto Blessing is fuelling the apostasy that will bring its followers unsuspecting into the Antichrist One World Church.
Christianity is now divided into two streams spoken of in Revelations 22 v 10 - 11: "And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
These words are not directed to sinners who have never known Jesus, but to those who did know Him but rejected His Lordship over them for their own money-making, fun-loving, hotch potch stew of the doctrines of man. Jesus will condemn them saying, I never knew you!
They are playing with fire, a strange fire that will become an unquenchable flame burning them eternally. Jesus warned of it when He walked here, He died horribly to set us free of it, but those who choose to neglect His truth are deceived by the very pride that took Lucifer, and all sinners away from God's love in the first place.
Jesus said: Follow Me! Let us humbly do so that we will not be found wanting on the Day of the Lord. Very few find the strait and narrow path that leads to life. Make sure you are one of them. Stop playing with religious fire but rather let the true fire of the Holy Spirit consume all falseness and error in our souls.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Acts 5, Ananias and Sapphira died for lying to the Holy Spirit. You demand holiness and truth from Your children. There must be no strange fire amongst us. Please quench it in our lives, homes, churches and nations so that we may be righteous before You when Jesus comes. In Jesus' name. Amen.
