Ephesians 6 v 18 - 20: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
Spiritually speaking, we are entering a time of strong opposition to the true and powerful gospel of Jesus Christ. In John 9 v 4 Jesus says the night is coming when no man can work. Paul says a great door to preach the gospel is opening but there are many adversaries.
Yesterday a door closed for Christians in South Africa to oppose "The Hate Speech Bill", which contains some very good items against racism and other forms of persecution. However, there is a worrying section that deals with people using the Bible to deal with sin. If anyone publishes or texts on social media a scripture of any kind that may offend another, they may be fined or jailed for up to 3 years.
The enemy of our souls knows that as he rises in a last bid to capture as many souls for his infernal region as possible, the One he hates is going to oppose him with the power of the Word of God. His only hope of defeating that Word called The Holy Bible, is to scare people away from using it.
The Lord is well able to protect His own and we should not be deterred from speaking boldly or writing boldly to reach the lost who are crying out for salvation. Jesus says that if they bring you before magistrates do not try to think up a convincing reason for proclaiming the truth because the Holy Spirit will fill you with the right words to say that will confound them.
Luke 12 v 11 - 22: "And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say."
It will be like the way Satan tempted Jesus in the Wilderness for forty days after His baptism. Jesus ate nothing for those forty days as fasting made Him spiritually stronger to withstand the terrible onslaught. And Jesus answered every taunt with wisdom from the Word of God, and defeated him with it.
The Word is a sword, a weapon of great power. Many new versions of the Bible have been written since the original King James Version was published in 1611. It was the first English translation taken from the original manuscripts. There is a a version of it now in modern English which is very helpful. Many of the other versions of the Bible have been changed and the anointing is not very strong. In many places the name of Jesus is omitted and replaced by 'he'. This will enable the Deceiver, Satan, to apply those verses to himself to convince the world that he is not the bad guy everyone says he is.
New US President Trump has promised to uplift Christians and Jews and protect them. The world under control of the Deceiver (who hates Christians and Jews) is rising against the new President for this reason. No matter what good he is doing Trump is going to have opposition and protests his entire term.
The Antichrist is rising. He consists of 3 parts or spirits viz. the Beast, which is the system called The New World Order, The False Prophet, which is the rise of every false religion rolled into The One World Church, and the Antichrist, the spirit of Satan, who will start out manifesting as a man of peace until the Rapture occurs. That is when the Christians are caught away from Earth to be with Jesus in the sky above. That leaves the Jews in a vulnerable place.
After the Rapture, this man of peace becomes the worst tyrant dictator the world has ever known when the full manifestation of the Antichrist, with full Satanic power, enthrones himself in the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declares himself God. At this moment the eyes of the Jews are opened to the truth and they flee into the mountains of Petra to hide.
For 42 months the worst tribulation the world has ever seen will hit this planet. Major earthquakes and tsunamis will occur frequently; megastorms will not even be news; droughts and famine; new virulent plagues; complete worldwide financial disaster; wars; worldwide anarchy and the blame will fall on the Jews, God's Chosen people. All the armies of the world will unite to destroy Israel in the Battle of Armageddon on the plains of Megiddo.
At this moment Jesus, the Bridegroom and all the Christians will arrive to save her, His precious Bride, from annihilation. He will slay that horrendous army with the Word out of His mouth speaking boldly, "You are finished". This is the Second Coming of Jesus to Earth and every eye will see Him and proclaim Him Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Revelation 22 v 17: "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Note that this occurs long after the Rapture, the thousand years of peace and restoration, and the Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20. So those who believe the Church is the Bride need to seek further truth.
So it is up to us to boldly speak the truth while enough light still shines for the night is coming swiftly when no man can work the works of God.
To those who have rejected our Saviour, Jesus Christ - Revelation 6 v 15 - 17: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
We can boldly declare that Jesus Christ came to Earth 2000 years ago and laid down His life when His blood poured out of Him, to be the sacrificed Lamb for everyone on Earth. He came to save sinners and all who call on the name of Jesus with hope of eternal life will be saved. Confess your sins to Him, repent, change your mind about doing them ever again, and open your heart to invite Jesus in as Lord and Saviour. Your name will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life for eternity.
Jesus was our Passover Lamb, who was born in the special field where the spotless lambs selected for the Passover, were kept. When Jesus was on trial it was the day before Passover, when the lambs were picked and declared spotless, which coincided with Pilate saying 'I find no fault with Him', and He was crucified at the same time as the Passover lambs were slaughtered and drained of their blood. In the Jewish Passover with their striped and pierced matzos, they do not realise that this is the Bread of Heaven pierced by nails with 39 stripes on His back, who died for them to be set free.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, our eyes are searching the heavens for the coming of Jesus to Rapture us into eternal glory. What a day of rejoicing it will be. The only better day will be when we are with Him to rescue His Bride. The final victory and the glory of Your Kingdom forevermore. Lord use us to shine our lamps into the increasing darkness, to speak boldly the truth into every place so they hear and respond. In Jesus' name. Amen.
