The Age of Terrorism

Scripture:  John 15 v 18 - 20: "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also."
1 John 3 v 15: "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."

The base nature of those engaged in committing acts of terror against soft targets like those leaving a concert at Manchester Arena last night which killed 22 people, is an act of hate.

These random tragic events destabilize communities and bring fear, worry, and a desire for revenge.  Last night it appears a suicide bomber blew himself up in an exit tunnel where people, including children, were leaving the stadium.  Panic and confusion, screams and sirens in the midst of scenes of devastation.

The identity of the terrorist will eventually be established and he may well be part of the Islamic Militants or ISIS who have but one goal and that is that the whole world will be forced into an Islamic Caliphate under Sharia Law.  Anyone who disagrees with them will be executed.

To advance their cause they have sworn to randomly attack citizens of those nations who fight against them in the Middle East where they have established the first Caliphate state.  The fact that it is shrinking due to international efforts to curb its advances just makes them more determined to retaliate.

Amazingly in a televised interview a while back a Muslim revealed some interesting facts about the Koran which led him to become a Christian!  He found that Jesus was mentioned 25 times in the Koran while Mohammed only has 4 mentions!

Mary, or Maryam as she is known, has her own chapter in the Koran while no female relative of Mohammed is even mentioned.  Jesus is described as the Word and the Creator, who died and is alive and will come again.  Mohammed has no such hope.

Until I heard this testimony I had no proof of a revelation published by Jack Chick of knowledge from a Roman Catholic priest who worked in the Vatican Archives during the 19th century, Father Chinoquoy.  This priest discovered that the Koran was compiled by Roman Catholic priests in the 8th century A.D. to harness scattered Arab nomadic tribes into a force to assist Rome to recapture Israel.

Part of the plan was to destroy true Christianity and stop the Jews from having a homeland.  Rome had its own brand of Christianity which included a large slice of the Babylonian religion.  They had mingled the two religions several centuries before and destroyed all opposition to this Catholic Cult.  Until Martin Luther nailed his exposure of their sins to the door of Wittenberg Cathedral.

Rome never managed to regain control of Israel because when the Muslims did conquer Jerusalem a few hundred years later they moved in and built their Al Aqsa mosque with its huge golden dome.  It still stands proudly above the site of the destroyed Jewish  temple......destroyed by the Romans under Titus in 70A.D.

In Daniel's '70 weeks' he says in prophecy that the Messiah would come but be killed shortly before the Temple is destroyed.  Daniel 9 v 26: "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

By this Christians have hope because our God has everything under His control.  He knows what is happening because nothing is hidden from His sight.  He has given us. His Word, Jesus Christ, to lead us in safe pastures.  We need to follow the words of the Holy Bible to be in safety.

Jesus said He would never leave us nor forsake us and even if our bodies die or are killed in a terror attack, He will still be with us.  As it says in 2 Corinthians 5 v 8: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Radical Islamists will never disappear and push their brand of terror, they are very hard to pinpoint before they commit their horrendous acts.  They may believe they will receive heavenly rewards but they will not be dead for minutes before they know they will suffer eternity in Hell.  They may think they are escaping the law by dying with their victims but they face a Righteous Judge on a Great White Throne, and if they do not have a real vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, their eternity will be very fearful.

About Heaven it says in Revelation 21 v 27: "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as this world gets darker and more evil prepare us for eternity with You in the mansions You have built for us.  We need to walk in Your ways and trust You every moment.  Teach us the truth so we may share it with others.  We love You Lord and will not fear but believe in Your salvation.  In Jesus' name. Amen.
