Bear Other's Burdens

Scripture: Galatians 6 v 7 - 9: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Romans 15 v 1 - 2: "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2  Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification."

There is nobody perfect except Jesus. We are a work in progress until He catches us up to Heaven, and then we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye to be like Him. So if we come across a fallen Christian restore him gently as you would like to have that same kindness done to you if you should fall.

We must bear each other's burdens. When someone is struggling as we pray, expect to feel the weight of their load resting on you. Do not complain or reject it. As Jesus bore our sins we must do our part to help our brethren. Not every Christian is called by God to be an Intercessor, those who take on many stresses daily, but we can be available to the Lord if He needs us.

Everyone bears his own responsibility and will give an account to the Lord one day. God does not allow Himself to be mocked by anyone so we must be very careful because what we sow we shall surely reap. If we cause hurt or pain to the family of God we are in danger of being hurt ourselves.

So keep short accounts and be quick to repent of wrongdoing.  If you have sown bad seeds like gossipping; undermining; belittling; arguing; being resentful then pray for crop failure before those seeds germinate and come back to taunt you.

In the world there is very little love, gentleness or kindness so spread the love of Jesus around and surprise people into the Kingdom of God. We can see how the world is disintegrating around us.

Fear has come on many this past year or more with random deadly attacks happening and being planned.  The Antichrist is rising. The full manifestation of evil must be seen and felt before he is cast into the Lake of Fire.  Jesus says "Fear not' to those who follow Him diligently.   He can only protect those whose names are in the Lamb's Book of Life.  That is our passport to everlasting life.

The moment we are born again by faith in Jesus Christ with our sins washed away in His Blood and baptised by full immersion in water (Christening as a baby does not count) then our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. In Revelations 2 Jesus says also that if we don't overcome the sins of our flesh and soul then our names may be removed from the Book of Life.
Revelations 3 v 5 - 6: "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

So even in your salvation t's and c's apply. (Terms and Conditions - adhere to them and your contract will be complied with.) For the power of the gospel to apply to you - If you believe; if you follow Me; if you love one another; if you bear other's burdens; if you obey My Word - then your prayers are answered and your salvation is sure.

So bear one another's burdens; live a holy life by worshipping God and loving others. Stand for what is true and just and shun evil people and their ways. This is the way to ensure where you will spend eternity. Remember what Paul said - If the righteous scarcely be saved, what of these others?

Bearing other's burdens is also connected to a verse in Colossians 1 v 23 - 25: "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24  Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25  Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;"

When we go through suffering in our flesh it continues the work of Jesus on the Cross, and is for His Body, the Church to be able to overcome the trials and tribulations on minefield Earth.  To become one with Jesus we have to be like Him in everything He did and He is our Great Intercessor, praying for us night and day before our Father.

Prayer: Father God make me an instrument of peace and love to sow the world with seeds of righteousness and faith to bless them. I am available to You Lord whenever I am needed. If there is someone in need let me help bear that burden to Your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen.
