Fear Ye Not

Scripture:  Exodus 14 v 13 -  16: "And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
15  And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
16  But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thin. e hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea."

We can imagine the fear in the Israelite's hearts after their escape from Egypt, having seen all the plagues of God on the Egyptians.  Now these same angry Egyptians on horses are bearing down on them.  They are hemmed in by mountains and the Red Sea.

In their panic, God spoke through Moses, Fear not, stand still, God will save us!  The Lord will fight for us, stop panicking.

God is speaking to us today because people are panicking about the coming Antichrist, the Mark of the Beast which controls buying and selling, the rise of anarchy, terrorism, and climate change.   There is an increase in the number of earthquakes, volcanic activity, superstorms and overheated oceans.

The ultimate safety is in the person of Jesus Christ.  If we are in Him, inside Him, then everything evil is outside Him and He stands between them and us.  In order for Satan to hurt us he has to kill Jesus first.  Been there, done that, and He rose again and triumphed over Satan with eternal life.

Fear Ye not, says Jesus, I have got this!  Like Pharoah discovered as the waters closed over the Egyptians and all were drowned as the Israelites danced for joy and victory on the opposite shore.

Go all out for Jesus, He is our only hope of salvation.  All other religion is a man-made hotch potch of rules, rites and idolatry. Jesus said in John 14 v 1 - 6: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4  And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The Son of God came to save us and take us to a place in which He has prepared mansions for us.  Revelation 21 v 21 - 27: "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

So make sure your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.  It means you are born again, baptized in water thereafter, (baby baptism or christening is not acceptable to God), and baptised in the Holy Spirit to be a true witness of Jesus.  In baptism we identify with His death and resurrection and we are resurrected to new life as a new creation, no longer only human.

Never go back on this commitment, even if it costs you everything.  Your eternal life starts when your name is in that Book.  If you depart from the ways of Jesus you run the risk of having your name blotted out of that Book.

He has given us a free will to choose whom we will serve Jesus Christ or Satan the great red Dragon.  This determines our eternal home.  The wonders of Heaven or the unquenchable fires of Hell.  Forever.  Jesus gave His life to save us from Hell, no other god, goddess, statue, religious figure, idol or demon did that for us.

This is no time to gamble on the possibility that God would not be so cruel.  One short glance at the ruins of Syria and the migrants who fled, will give us a glimpse of the anger of God against those who fight against Israel.  His anger against sin and evil is just as strong.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are grateful that the way to Heaven is continually open to those who repent and be live in Jesus Your Son.  We are thankful that all fear is gone because we are in Him who saved us from Hell.  Lord let all those others hear You calling them and let them respond swiftly.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
