Scripture: Luke 21 v 34 - 36: "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
So many Christians believe in super grace. That if you are born again you are eternally saved no matter if you carry on a sinful lifestyle. They think drinking, drugging, porn, free sex, astrology, yoga, martial arts, new age practices, gay relationships are now all covered and acceptable through super grace.
They say all sin for all time is now forgiven and God winks at what they do in the dark, or even in plain sight. They think that the great tribulation will bypass them. However, Jesus says things are not like that.
The works of the flesh in Galatians 5 v 19 - 21 are: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
And all who do such things will not make it to Heaven. Jesus says to us, your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more. We must renew our minds according to the word of God. If sin is habitual it is controlled by a demon which needs to be bound and cast out.
You made an alliance with that demon. You must fall out of agreement with it. See it as an enemy invading your property like a bad dog. You would rebuke that dog in a loud voice and command it to go. James 4 v 7 says Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee.
He will not stay and argue, he will flee. Flee means getting out at high speed. And you tell him go to hell where you belong. And don't come back and trouble me or mine. In Jesus' name. That's your full authority and renders Satan powerless.
We cannot remain passive in our walk with Jesus. This world is a warzone. Be alert and watchful. Be praying against things being hurled at you and yours that you cannot see. Pray for protection, pray for advanced warning, make your needs known to our Father.
Never pray to saints, angels, Mary, the Pope or anyone but our Father. Pray in the name of Jesus according to the will of God. When you call upon Him He hears you. He will lead you in right paths and if you follow Him daily you will escape the great tribulation.
He has made a way of escape called the Rapture when every righteous born again, baptised in water after repentance and then baptised in the Holy Spirit believer will be caught up to meet the Lord in the sky above Earth.
There are many who don't believe there will be a Rapture, probably because they made strong predictions about a specific day and people sold their houses and had expensive vacations till the day passed uneventfully.
There are those who say the church will be raptured before any tribulation begins. That would be nice but I believe that first half of the seven years of tribulation will be the most fruitful period in the history of the church.
The seven years starts like a shot out of the starter's gun. It starts with Israel signing a peace treaty with ALL the Arab nations for 7 years, not just with the Palestinians. At this pivotal moment the Antichrist, in person, will be a mediator, a man of peace, greatly admired. For three and a half years, Jesus calls it the Beginning of Sorrows, things will start getting rough.
More global warming problems, financial turmoil, epidemics, famine, militants, migrants, etc. will be seen but everyone who ever knew anything about tribulations or raptures will want to make sure they have a seat on the train. This will spark the world revival when the Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh.
Millions of people will be under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and every Christian will be sought after to pray and minister salvation. The gifts of the Spirit will be flowing, the Living Water will be flowing. Love will be flowing and as the tribulations increase the Body of Jesus will be growing like never before.
Nobody who has prayed for years for this revival will want to be anywhere but here reaping the huge harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. But we must be worthy! We must be ready for it, alert, awake and prayed up.
Now is the time to overcome the flesh and be preparing for the day Jesus needs us to feed His lambs. We need to know the prayer of salvation. We need to know how to baptize people in water. How to lay hands on them for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. How to get them into reading the Bible, praying, having fellowship. Learn it now because when this starts you want to be fully charged and your go to person will be up to his neck in it already.
We will have this first half of the tribulation to get this done. Then I believe the Rapture will take place. Immediately after that the Wrath of the Lamb begins and that is something no true Christian will go through.
This is when the Mark of the Beast will be on your hand or forehead and you cannot live without it. That Mark cuts you off from God forever. You take that Mark in defiance of God and in alliance with Satan. It's your final choice in the matter. Those who refuse it will be beheaded.
The Antichrist does not have the church breathing down his neck. He will enter the Holy of Holies in the rebuilt Temple and declare that he is God. The Jews will have their eyes opened that day and flee to Jordan, to the mountains of Petra, to ask forgiveness of Jesus. They will look upon Him as the Son who was pierced. They will weep in desperate sorrow.
Revelation 1 v 5 - 7: "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to be worthy when the time comes to bring in the harvest of souls. Help us to be ready in every way to bless You with our obedience, love and desire to be ministers of salvation, when everybody will be needed to help before the Rapture comes. Let us not bury our talents but rather win ten cities for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' name. Amen.
