Scripture: Galatians 1 v 6 - 8: "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
After the success of Hal Lindsay's "The Late Great Planet Earth", his sister-in-law, Johanna, wrote a book called, "The Beautiful Side of Evil" about how she believed she was following Jesus Christ when she was involved in spiritualism and witchcraft.
She assisted at a Mexican psychic's health practice where operations without anaesthetic were common. The Mexican "doctor" would go into a trance and his patients would feel nothing painful as he pulled cancerous tumours out of their bodies. Sounds great, but when your source of power is from Hell then the Devil binds the souls of all he touches.
Johanna was such a soul, who had various spirit guides, one of which was called Jesus. She truly believed everything "Jesus" told her, and was very troubled when "Jesus" stopped responding to her summoning him. When she got born again she knew that the spirit guide called "Jesus" was false and she rejoiced to know the truth and be set free.
Throughout the years of this ministry I have learnt truth from error, and to discern what is false. There are hundreds of false doctrines misleading people and teaching things that blind them to truth. In all my blogs I endeavour to show truth over error.
In the hope that anyone who is believing that they are right with God, but are not, will be able to see the danger they are in and make a life changing decision. To see that their faith is misplaced, as Johanna did, and make the necessary changes to conform to the Word of God.
Read the Bible and compare your doctrine with it. If you were Christened as a baby, count how many babies were Christened or baptized in the New Testament. The number is zero. So every church still doing this is in error and they want to keep that traditional error.
Matthew 15 v 7 - 9: "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
This is just one error but it can affect your eternal life.
Mark 16 v 16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
Many people think that being Christened means they don't need to be baptized after salvation. They get confirmed and believe they have ticked all the boxes. Such an amazing transformation happens when we are baptized after salvation and Satan has managed to prevent it in various churches all over the world.
Both the above scriptures are the actual words of Jesus Christ, who is truth and cannot lie.
Plus in Matthew 7 v 17 - 20: "Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
The trees with corrupt fruit are the churches who stick to tradition contrary to the Word of God. Jesus says they cannot bring forth any good fruit. This is not me being gloom and doom, its the Word of God that never gets seen properly. Jesus always hated tradition because He knew it blocked truth with vain lies.
This is just one of many examples and its up to you to search for truth and follow Jesus. The new tradition of being politically correct rather than obedient to God is also in this category.
Jesus Loves us all. He gave His life for the whole world. He gave us free will to choose life or death. If we choose life we must discover it in its fullness and live it in the power of the Holy Spirit. People who reject the full life of Christ proceed no further. Please consider everything in the light of the Word and yield to Jesus when He needs to make changes.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we have been brainwashed by tradition, and that they know best, but if they are wrong where does that leave us? Help us to see and know the full, uncompromising truth so that no error can block us from eternity with You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
