A New Dimension

Scripture:   Philippians 3 v 7 - 10:  "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;"

No matter what place you have reached on your spiritual journey towards knowing and pleasing God Almighty, there still many things you have yet to experience.  Even Paul writes, after all he had done for the Lord, That I may know Him.

That is the essence of this new dimension!  He satisfies you but you want more of Him.  How can we ever know Him except through the Bible?  And yes, the Bible is Him, it is the Word, as He is known as the Word.  He is the Word of God made manifest in human flesh.

He is the Son of God, the only one who was begotten through an earthly mother, Mary.  We are all sons and daughters because we make up His Body.  So His very breath is in our lungs, His very Blood is in our veins.  His very life is in our souls.

When we exalt Him in praise and worship, He refreshes us and builds us up for He dwells in the praises of His people.  This new dimension is to know that there is much more to learn of the power of His resurrection.

We were in Him when He sat at the Last Supper, and as He prayed and sweated Blood in Gethsemane.  We were arrested with Him, tried and condemned, mocked and scourge with Him.  We hung on the Cross with Him, died with Him and were buried in the tomb with Jesus.

But more profoundly we rose from death in resurrection glory with Him, and from the moment we repent and are born again, we live forever with Him.  We are changed into a new creation alien to humans.  How unsaved humans feel about Jesus is how they behave towards us.

John 15 v 18 - 19: "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

We have to reflect His glory so their carnal minds can get a glimpse of where they came from.  A splinter of truth, a drop of pure light, a seed of the hope of salvation.  Just a tiny reminder of how the peace and harmony of Heaven once thrilled them.  A tiny memory that the Holy Spirit can use to prise open a stubborn door to allow the King of Glory to enter in.

Ecclesiastes 1 v 11:
"There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after."

All memories of our Heavenly home and our Father have been blotted out by Satan when he caused us to fall into sin before the foundation of the world.  They were replaced by false memories so that we could never be reconciliation between God and Man.

But God insisted that every soul should have the measure of faith to believe that God is real.  And that He could send one chosen person at a time to stir up memories of God, spaced out by many years of silence.  Then His own dear Son would make the supreme sacrifice for every person who would respond.  Did He not say at the Last Supper, Do this in remembrance of Me?

Everything He did on this Earth was to remind us of Heaven and His Father.  If you have seen Me you have seen the Father, He said.  And also, Blessed are those who believe who have never seen Me.  So never turn back once you have seen the Light of Jesus.  Our enemy is doing everything he can to put that Light out.

Let us grow in this knowledge that every tiny seed planted in moist soil will germinate, some seeds can even flower in rocks.  If we don't ever plant any seeds our garden would be barren.  Let our Father look at our patch and behold an array of beautiful, fragrant flowers, trees, shrubs, and fruit and released with what He sees.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father,  it's growing darker every day as sin abounds and evil dominates arrogantly.  Thank You for Your protection and giving us new dimensions to explore and experience.  Things that bless many and cause the Light to shine into that darkness.  We press on to the High Calling of Jesus, to make the kingdom's of this world into the Kingdom of God.  In Jesus' name. Amen.
