Scripture: Psalm 139 v 13 - 17: "For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!"
There is one standard of absolute truth that we can rely on and that is God's Word, the Holy Bible. The Holy Spirit came upon men and inspired them to write words that surprised even themselves. I know this because writing these many blogs I am often aware that what gets written often amazes me, sometimes information I never even knew.
Our God oversaw the making of us in our mother's wombs. The only two who missed that stage were Adam and Eve who were personally made by God in Eden. Our God is so creative, He spoke and Jesus fashioned it beautifully.
He made the Earth habitable for mankind. Genesis 1 v 1 says that the earth was void and without form. So it looked liked the Moon. A lump three rocks from the Sun. God even gave us a shield against overheating from solar flares. God made this world as much like Heaven as He could.
Genesis 3 v 14 - 15: "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
God made us in His own image. When He placed all the seeds in Eve's womb of the entire human race we were amongst them, as was the Seed that would become our Saviour 4000 years later. All the prophets, kings, judges, deliverers, apostles, teachers, evangelists were with us in her womb.
There is eternal enmity between the seeds in Eve and the Serpent. He would also bruise Jesus bodily and Jesus would bruise his head so that he no longer has divine insight, which he had as an archangel.
Jeremiah 1 v 5: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."
God knew us before we were in Eden in Eve. Just as much as He knew Jeremiah. Romans 8 v 28 - 29: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
God foreknew us before He made us seeds in a womb 6000 years ago. He programmed us to be changed into the image of His Son before we became those seeds. He had very far reaching plans that hit a wall when Adam and Eve made their alliance against Him with Satan. Eve was deceived but Adam knew the choice he was making would affect every soul that would ever live.
Satan had dominion over the world, that is the seeds that would be born. They were such a failure that God sent a flood, keeping those seeds alive in Noah's wife, and his son's wives, that would become Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and prophets and Jesus and us. As long as we adhere to the Word of God.
When we don't we become like Adam and Eve after the Fall. Lost in the Wilderness without God's Presence and wisdom to guide us. We follow strange religions, other gods, false doctrines, weird philosophy, hoax theories and other conspiracies.
We get caught up in all of Satan's lies, just like Eve did. He even uses those same old very effective words. Genesis 3 v 1 - 6: "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."
Satan sowed doubt in her mind that God was being honest. He said, you won't die if you disobey Him, you will just know everything He doesn't want you to know. And curiosity got the better of her and she fell for it.
The result was they knew they were naked and felt ashamed and needed fig leaves to cover their bodies. They then we're turned out of Eden into a place where they had to work to live. God stopped providing for them. Death and disease entered the arena, sin and murder became the norm.
Satan has manipulated the minds of every soul born until today. The only place safe from him is inside the Rock of Ages. He has filled the world with lies, deceit, corruption, theft, slavery, torment, kidnapping, rape, terrorism, cults and every depravity.
Jesus broke him in Hades after His death, and broke him further by His resurrection. However his lies still bring us down to his level until we make a decision to trust the Word of God in its entirety. I made this decision in 1980 and believed God for health, provision, clothing, life. I cancelled insurance policies and medical aid and every worldly right and gave myself wholly to God.
The truth is that its very liberating to reject the world system and allow Jesus to manage your life, health, wealth and live above the law. To live as He lived and be so blessed. The last doctor I saw was 7 years ago to have a toenail removed that collided with an immovable object. Only two other occasions for similar small problems in the past 20 years. And the previous twenty years were largely free of medical problems too. I don't even know the name of a doctor in the area where I now live. The savings in medical aid payments has been astronomical.
I don't expect anyone to up and do as I have done. To me its a testimony of the power of Jesus when we truly give Him complete control. I am not afraid of the pandemic, as Dr. John G. Lake was not afraid of bubonic plague when he was a doctor in Pondoland, South Africa, over 100 years ago.
He never got sick and not one of his patients died of the plague. He had the power of the Holy Spirit upon him and it gave him divine health. Jesus is a Healer, who lives in our hearts. When we know His power and ability it brings peace and stability. When we pray for healing Jesus does what's best.
We are created by God to be confirmed to the image of Jesus because we are His Body, the Church. Our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us live in the freedom of Eden before the Fall.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, when we see how beautiful every part of our bodies are, our eyes, ears, brains, hands, hearts, organs, we thank You for Your handiwork. We are not evolved from some swamp creature or even from apes. We are Your children fearfully and wonderfully made. We give You praise and honour and worship. In Jesus' name. Amen.
