Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10 v 3 - 6: "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."
The reason why the church is splintered into many denominations and sects is because the powers that be are more carnal than spiritual and do not discern that this world is an invisible war zone.
The war started in Heaven before time began and it is replayed on Earth from Eden till now. The forces of Satan are ranged against humans made by God and in His image. Their biggest triumph is keeping it hidden for so long.
The world system revolves around sin. We have all been captured by its lure and become lost in its deception. Those who are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit are taught by Him how to fight against it. We have been given mighty weapons to conduct our warfare.
Through God and by prayer we can cast down imaginations. One of the most successful ploys of our enemy is through human imagination. Most tv shows exist to entice advertisers to capture the imagination of what their products can do for your health, wealth, appliances and hygiene.
Wealth is covered in Deuteronomy 8 v 17 - 18: "And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."
True wealth is not the accumulation of gold and silver into lucrative bank accounts, mansions, expensive cars and fame. It is receiving all that God allows you and being content with it. You always have enough plus an extra amount to help others in need. Your security is in knowing that Almighty God loves you and your life is in His hands.
Our spiritual weapons cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. These are the satanic strongholds that gather around human imagination like lust, pornography, love of money, self-interest, fuelled by drugs, alcohol and greed. These demons take pleasure in seeing their suggestions into the brains of their victims take root and produce crimes like rape, violence against women and children, sexual abuse, murders, xenophobia, grand theft, financial scams, war, mutilation, torture etc.
If we use our weapons correctly we can change these scenarios and bind the demons and rescue the targets. Not enough people know how to pray, or do the necessary ministry to make a dent in it. The failure of the church is the failure of society. All the humanitarian programs and schemes are very worthy but they do not eliminate the underlying problems.
The church must get back in line with all the truth in the Bible and overcome their spiritual laziness and justification fig leaves. They must learn from the top of the church down about the enemy we face and how to overcome him. They must remove every tradition contrary to the commands of God. All religious trappings that look so good but are a deterrent to truth.
In the New Testament there are no ecclesiastical garments, high hats, sceptres, popes, pontiffs, statues, candles, incense, opulence, archbishops, archdeacons, rosaries, nor celibate priesthood and nuns. Most of the foregoing relates to the Babylonian religion and has no place in Christianity. Join the dots.....do the math.....discover the truth.......because you alone have to stand before a holy righteous Judge and give account of your relationship with Jesus.
The Babylonian religion has zero links to Jesus and all churches tainted with it are unable to fight any spiritual battle. You cannot throw holy water - whatever that is - and show the cross to ward off demons and their evil. Jesus used specific verses of Bible scripture to defeat Satan and so must we.
Revelation 12 v 10 - 11: "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
In all the seven letters to the churches in Revelation 2 and 3, we are told that we must overcome the various evils that Satan brought into the churches. Every church denomination today should do this very thing and make a determined effort to cast down every stronghold, every imagination, every tradition, every Babylonian influence, because these are all compromises with Satan and his world system to keep your lofty positions and lucrative church posts. There is nothing of the truth about Jesus in any of it.
There may be the illusion and deception of safety in numbers but you are all like sheep who have gone astray. The Great Shepherd is laying this word on me today to open your eyes and your understanding of how far you have strayed while still thinking all is well in your religious world. He is fighting a battle for your immortal soul, your whole church doctrine and giving you a reality check.
The fanatical psychopaths of ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Shabaab, know no compromise with their beliefs. They prey on the weaknesses of the lukewarm church and consequent ignorant society and no one knows where they will strike next. They are emboldened by their success. Their religion has strong ties to the Babylonians as Allah is the ancient Babylonian moon God.
The doctrines that stem from the Babylonian religion should be totally eliminated from Christian worship and churches namely Infant baptism - all that baby gets is a wet head! It originates from the barbaric Baal to whom babies were sacrificed in a furnace. Just before they were thrown in to their deaths they were named and had water sprinkled on their heads to purify them. When the Roman Catholic Church amalgamated the Babylonian traditions into Christianity in the 4th century A.D., they blended the two into the catechism they teach today.
The churches that broke away in the Reformation did not change all of the things they should have. They kept the robes, and Dagon's fish hat, the rings of authority are very pagan, and totally unacceptable to Jesus. If you are bound by these things you are one of those of whom Jesus says......By your traditions you disobey the command of God. This mingling of false and true is an abomination to Him.
Numbers 3 v 4: "And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father."
Those in Toronto Blessing or Catch the Fire meetings must come to realise that this is a false anointing and false revival, bringing harm to many people and destroying their faith. The same demons that are manifested in Hindu rituals are very present in Catch the Fire meetings. It's not a blessing its a curse, the blind leading the blind and both will fall.
Before the church or any individual can engage in effective spiritual warfare the two great problems that face them must be overcome. There is no unity in the church today and the words united we stand, divided we fall apply. Without unity there is a lack of direction. Each denomination is wandering in its own wilderness without a compass. The enemy has scored by giving a sort of unity in Interfaith and added direction to it.......straight into the One World Church ruled by Him.
If you can overcome all this, and get your faith lined up with the full gospel of Jesus, there are mighty spiritual weapons available to you to work against evil and rescue many victims from the forces of darkness.
Prayer: Heavenly Father I pray that many will have their eyes opened to understand the depth of the problems facing the church today. Father I pray that the Holy Spirit will move powerfully upon every heart to change division to unity and fruitless wandering into dynamic direction. Father we need to fight the good fight in all earnestness so truth may be known. In Jesus' name. Amen.
