Scripture: John 3 v 16 - 17: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."It is not a hidden mystery, its the heart of God upon His sleeve, He wants the whole world to be saved. He does not want to lose anybody because He loves us all. But we must conform to His will.
He went more than the extra mile when He sent His only begotten Son to die for us, in our place, so that the life of Heaven could be restored to us. Eternal life, uninterrupted forever, always in His holy presence, filled with blessings He says we cannot begin to imagine.
We have suffered in this sinful world. We have sometimes been our own worst enemy through pride, stubbornness, rebellion, anger, lies, gossip, we have put up barriers between our Father and ourselves, and encouraged others to do likewise, because misery loves company.
That stubborn pride won't back down. It just escalates the negativity until the voice of God can not longer be heard, and the once sensitive conscience has hardened to become a huge stumbling block to reconciliation with God. Unbelief has led to backsliding away from the truth into the full turmoil of the world.
How does God get what He wants most? Why does He want us anyway? We read it in the Bible, but we do not seem to comprehend the significance of the words.
Colossians 1 v 18 - 22: "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:"
Jesus is the head of the Body, the church. Whose body? His own body! God loves us because we are the body of His Son. We are precious to God for that reason and He wants the body of His Son to be united, knitted together, made whole, healed, intact, sinless, free of demons, beautiful. God wants the body of Jesus to be tissue perfect, matching His DNA in every respect.
God wants us to be ready for the sudden, silent, catching away of every born again saint, to be reunited with the Head, in the air above the Earth. Jesus will be like a magnet and we will be like bits of metal drawn by His power towards Him. He said, If I be lifted up from the Earth I will draw all men unto Me. We must be welded together by the Cross working in us to free us from sin and giving us eternal life.
We will be together with Him forever. The Bridegroom will be complete and the first part of the Marriage Supper will begin. The pouring of the new wine and great joy and merriment. At some indeterminate moment Jesus will lead us to where His besieged Bride is waiting to be rescued.
The armies of the world are advancing on the Plains of Meggido, for the Battle of Armageddon to annihilate Israel to begin. Israel was the chosen Bride, upon whom God made covenants, promises, gifts of land, laws, feasts, ceremonies, jubilees and judgments for disobedience. But He would never forsake Her. He would never break His Covenant or promises.
She unwisely signed a 7 year peace treaty with all the Arab nations in the presence of the Antichrist. This is still ahead but she will do it and it will be used against her to finally give Satan the opportunity to utterly destroy her. Her eyes have been opened to this imposter and she is crying out to her Bridegroom, Come Lord Jesus!
These are the words He has waited millennia to hear from her mouth. He will lose not a moment to answer this call. And we, His Body, will be with Him when He confronts the 200 million troops of the Antichrist nations and two thirds of them die in one instant when the Sword from His mouth, the words He utters, slays them. The rest flee to escape the pure wrath of the Lamb fully manifested at His enemies. They will hear the roar of the angry Lion.
This is what God wants. The full Marriage Feast with the Bride now arrayed in her beautiful garments, overjoyed and at last in her right mind, to be joined to her true love. What a day of rejoicing that will be. Everything restored to its rightful place and the evil ones in the eternal lake of fire.
Following this we will live and reign with Jesus on Earth for one thousand years as He, and we, restore it to its original beauty, no pollution of any kind. All animals will be tame. Dogs will not chase cats. No venom, sin, sickness or death, just peace, joy and love as it should be.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we want what You want. Peace on Earth, goodwill towards men. You want Your Son intact to rescue His Bride, so do we, Father, and will rejoice to see it happen. Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We pray for the end to come, eagerly and joyfully O God. In Jesus' name. Amen.
