Scripture: Romans 8 v 37 - 39: "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
If there is nothing in any dimension that can separate us from the love of God then nothing can defeat us. Our God is all-powerful and He is our Protector. It is in God's interests to keep us safe from harm because we are the Body of His Son, Jesus.
To understand what the phrase 'more than conquerors' means let's look at a prize fighter who though bruised and bleeding, defeats his opponent and wins a large financial reward. When he gets home he gives his winnings to his wife. She is more than a conqueror.
God sacrificed His Son to rescue Israel, the Bride of Jesus, from Satan, before this world was formed. The Bible refers to this period as "the former things". Micah the prophet said in Micah 5 v 2: "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
Micah was prophesying of the One who would be born in Bethlehem, a small town, and become great in Israel, but whose goings forth from Heaven were in the time of eternity. That means before Earth time existed. Part of the former things. Like the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13 v 8.
Daniel 7 v 13 - 14: "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
Jesus commended Peter when he stated, You are the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus said that Peter received a direct revelation from God concerning who He was and is. Daniel received the above revelation in a night vision. David Wilkerson had a recurring night vision of the End Times, which he wrote in a book called "The Vision".
Both Daniel and David Wilkerson were troubled in their minds about these visions. When I received the revelations and visions of the events before the world was formed I was equally troubled in my mind. However our Saviour is exceedingly patient and wise, He knows how to handle troubled minds.
Things happened before this Earth time and they had to be searched for in scripture guided by the candle of the Holy Spirit, to bring truth. These events reveal why we are stuck on this planet wherein there is a constant battle between good and evil.
This planet is actually a rescue station with recovery and rehabilitation sections. Every human is a victim of a ferocious enemy of our God. He tore the Bride apart in her spirit form. Millions of her fragments were gathered into 12 baskets.
Jesus was the Ransom for her. My life for hers He said. His great spirit was slain in Satan's kingdom in the time everlasting, and again every fragment of Jesus's Body was collected into seven baskets. We humans are each one of those dead fragments now called a soul. That soul clothed with flesh is each one of us.
There were two miracles of feeding the crowds around Jesus, the first was the 5000 fed from 5 loaves and 2 fish, the second was feeding 4000 from 7 loaves and a few fishes. The first yielded 12 baskets of leftover fragments, the second, seven baskets. Jesus was trying to restore memories to Israel, of the 12 baskets of fragments that were her shattered souls from the time everlasting.
But we were twisted by the enemy into hating, rejecting, killing one another. We were subjected to brainwashing under torture to reject everything of God and disclaim our place in Heaven. Satan made it extremely difficult for us to be rescued. The Cross made it easy to be saved.
Jesus, the Prophets, Judges, Kings were sent to Israel to remind her of His love, forgiveness, mercy, patience, in an effort to undo the damage and the lies she has been fed. The Jews were given the Law to help redirect her thinking, and the Covenants of God's promises to her. Some recognized Him when He came to Earth.and followed Him, many others rejoiced at His death.
The Gentiles, or non-Jews, became converted and have grown into a large group of believers, which corresponds to the seven baskets, which relates to the 7 churches in Revelations chapters 2 and 3. You have to be born again spiritually to belong to His Body. It is called The Church. It is the invisible church of saved Christians of every colour, country, denomination, language and occupation. They are washed clean of sin through the Blood of the Lamb.
These walk and live in the victory of Jesus through His Resurrection and Ascension to Heaven. They live in the Covenant promises of God. These promises are written in the New Testament. They are better promises than the Old Testament because they are ratified by the death of the Testator. No Will is valid until the owner of the Will dies. Jesus died to make that will valid for everyone who believes in Him.
Have you read the Will? Do you know what your inheritance is? Until you read the Will and claim its promises that apply to you, you are ignorant of your legacy. It's like your billionaire father died and left everything to you but you didn't read his will and died a pauper. God says in Hosea....My people perish from lack of knowledge. How terribly sad.
Our Father has done everything possible to secure our future but it is up to us to accept His plan for our lives and live according to His will. It's not hard to do when you overcome your reluctance, fear, doubts, self-will, materialism, and love of money.
You also need to put others needs before your own and trust God to supply whatever He needs you to have. I have noticed that He starts with little to see how you manage and adds the increase as you become more obedient. He wants you to have joy, victory, blessing and that which is good, without making you so full of material wealth that you forget who is giving you these blessings and become a self-made man.
He sometimes has to cap those blessings until you get your perspective right and your faith increases again. It's because He loves you and only wants the best for you. He has rescued you for a purpose - to rebuild the Body of Jesus in unity, righteousness, faith and submission. As long as you are on the right track with Him all will be well.
Do not judge others or demean other Christians. Show love and kindness to all and uplift them. This will give movement to the invisible Body, strengthen its muscles, rejoin all the nerves, veins, arteries, motor neurons, brain functions until every part is fit and working and meet for the Master's use. What a glorious day that will be. We will sing and shout the victory!
We were never designed to be poor, defeated, sick, miserable and depressed souls. Christ in us the hope of glory is our overcoming power. Find out what He really wants to do with your life. It will be something that brings no acclaim to you personally. All the glory belongs to Jesus and not to humanity. Those who glory in themselves have received their reward and their bank account in Heaven is in overdraft. When they really want something from God it takes a long time because He waits until there are spiritual deposits first!
They call on everyone else to pray in the hopes God responds favourably to them on their behalf. He does not fall for that old chestnut, and waits till they get the message. So don't play games He always wins!
The Devil's brainwashed lies include pouring billions of dollars or pounds or yuan into lost causes. Our planet is dying and some species have gone. Our oceans are a mess. Our air is a mess. Many rivers are polluted. Diseases are rife, plagues are increasing. God wants the world, the sinners, to be saved first, foremost and all the time.
Jesus Himself will restore the Earth in the Millenium that is the 1000 years of peace for all the believers that comes after the Battle of Armageddon. The rest await the Day of Judgment with fear and trembling.
Jesus said in Matthew 7 v 21-23: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
This means that whatever you think you are doing for God, if it is contrary to His will or in any way false, it will not count. When you stand before the Judgment Seat and God asks if you know His Son, you may say yes, but Jesus may say I never knew you! He only claims knowledge of those who do the Will of the Father. Suggestion: Put the salvation of souls on top of your agenda. Let Him worry about saving the vulnerable animals, oceans and air.
This is how to live the victory blessing in your life. Obedience, sacrifice, submission, humility, love, kindness and giving. Let these become natural things, the new norm. They have their own eternal rewards.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, how mighty You are! Yet You care for every tiny soul like the most precious jewel. We are more than conquerors because Jesus died to give us eternal life. You never want to see any souls lost and afraid. Use us o Lord, in whatever way we can best serve You, to bring them Home. In Jesus' name. Amen.
