Scripture: Genesis 2 v 2 - 8: "And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."Genesis 2 v 16 - 17: "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."
There were many trees of every kind planted in Eden as seeds which grew after a dew rose up from the ground and watered the whole Earth. There would have been seeds everywhere of vegetables, grass, herbs and creepers, which would have sprung up when the dew caused life to the seeds.
However, there were two significant trees that were planted there, the Tree of Life which was giving the fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, self control, kindness, meekness, goodness and faith. This is the very nature of Jesus Himself, and which we receive when the Holy Spirit fills our hearts.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit develops over time. If we measure ourselves against the nature of Jesus, if we lack patience or self control, we need to work on those areas. Like anger management or losing faith if our prayers don't come out the way we want them to. We are a work in progress to become like Jesus.
The other tree, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, is the one the serpent, Satan, lied about to Eve. He implied that God forbade them to eat from it because it would bring about wisdom to be like God. It does rather bring about death because that tree is the Pandora's Box of sickness, disease, demons and sin. They opened it and could not close it again.
God had to include it because He gave humans a free will, whether they would obey Him and be safe, or disobey and find out the hard way that sin equals death. Adam and Eve were deported out of Eden, where everything had been freely given, into the harsh reality of life without God.
If they had shunned the slimy serpent they would have lived for eternity. We would all have been born and had fellowship with Jesus all our lives until we were taken to Heaven. No sin, sickness, depravity, drugs, alcohol, perversion, pollution, corruption or death would have manifested on Earth.
Instead it all descended into mindless chaos that the Lord washed away after the first 1000 years brought forth only 8 people who would obey Him and be righteous. Within one generation after the Flood, God had to destroy the Tower of Babel.
It was an occult tower for astrology and things that were called "Eastern" or "Mythology" or "Transcendental Meditation" = silent thoughts or repeating mantras. Into these religions we must add yoga, martial arts, astral projection, spiritualism and the like. These are manifested on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
Every form of sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and a woman (without gender-altering surgery), came out of Pandora's Box. And exploded across the world like a pandemic that has never been tamed.
There are the wages of sin to deal with and very few outside the Christian church ever think of that. These days its even scarce inside the Church. The rise of the Antichrist, who is the full bag of tricks, the complete manifestation of the Forbidden Fruit, is causing much too much compromise in the Church.
Fusion of religions like Chrislam is a paradox of confusion on all levels. So many false doctrines abound all initiated by Satan to deceive us, and by human pride causing us to be deceived. Satan fell from Grace through pride, so he knows how to play that card on humanity. The Lord is urging me to give warnings about the consequences of sin.
Unconfessed sin is a major problem that people do not grasp. There are many people who have become "Blood brothers" through blood rituals that need to be broken. It's wrong and causes suffering and even death. If any have been affected by this, please confess it and be set free by Jesus.
Hosea 4 v 6: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
Christians and Jews are perishing through ignorance of the Word of God, and with all types of idolatry or rebellion. These are deadly poisonous fruit on the bad tree of Eden. Do not pooh pooh this, it was like when Moses came down the first time with the Ten Commandments on the tablets of stone and found Aaron and the Jews worshipping a golden calf. God wanted to wipe them all out and start over. Moses begged Him for another chance, threw down and broke the first tablets and went back up for the second ones. Altogether he fasted for 80 days!
God is serious. Please audit your lives carefully and see where you are playing games with God. Where you think He does not see, or does not mind if we are sinful. Jesus says if we do not overcome sin and Satan our names may be blotted out of the Lamb's Book of Life. So get serious with God and make sure that your life is not hypocritical. That you don't look good in front of Christians and with your pagan friends you are very acceptable. God is not fooled.
So let us uproot this evil tree and burn it out of our souls by the power in the name of Jesus, and His shed Blood. Let us not give the serpent any opportunity to deceive us. Let us remain faithful to the Word of God and do that which pleases Him. Let our cell phones be clear of everything sinful so that the Lord can use them to share His truth without compromise.
Prayer: Heavenly Father the days are growing darker as evil grows unchecked, help us O Lord to be vigilant over ourselves and others to stay in the Light of Jesus. Pour out the Holy Spirit to revive and teach us right from wrong. Fill us with the beautiful fruit on the Tree of Life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
