Flowing in the Spirit

Scripture:  Philippians 2 v 2 - 4: "Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."

Acts 2 v 1 - 4: "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

On this Earth there is no more powerful experience than when we are flowing together in harmony with the Holy Spirit.  To be caught up into the presence of Almighty God, exalting Jesus and in pure worship, fills our cup to overflowing with the life of sublime joy.

Praying and singing in tongues lifts us into heavenly realms and makes us one with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  From this union flows wisdom, love, anointing, power and thankfulness.  We never want anything more than to continue in harmony with God.  We are experiencing Heaven on Earth.

In order to achieve this beautiful state of being we need to gather in a small group of likeminded Christians, being in one accord in one place.  If Jesus is praised then He can baptize us all in the Holy Spirit if we ask Him to do so.  You must already be born again and baptised in water for He will not come upon those who are still in sin.

Galatians 2 v 20: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

There was an exchange made at the Cross in which our spirits went from death to life as soon as we were born again. We were immediately seated in Christ in heavenly places and His spirit dwells in us.  His sinless, pure, holy, righteous spirit is alive in us to change our souls from dark to light.  This is living by faith and growing in the knowledge of Jesus.

If we are happy with who we are and resist being changed we will find ourselves in a limbo of broken parts.  The Master will not invade us against our will.  He will patiently wait until we submit unreservedly to His love and mercy.  If we are in this state of stubbornness we will not be able to flow in the power of the Spirit for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.

As Christians we are no longer just human, we are a new creation of which Jesus was the first.  We must be converted from just human to being a new creation of people who are now called saints.  We live in newness of life and in real freedom from sin, oppression, demons, disease, corruption and death.  We can flow with the Holy Spirit when we live like this.

Prayer and worship are the means by which we enter into the flow and the wondrous presence of God.  He gives us visions, prophecies, knowledge and answers.  He connects us to be in harmony with each other and when you pray together for people in need the answers come quickly.

We are dead to self and alive to God and if anyone present is out of harmony the whole group will feel it and minister to that need before proceeding with anything else.  If there is resistance the flow will continue past the one resisting for the Lord is unstoppable.  So if you feel isolated from God while those around you are on another level you need to release that blockage within yourself to join the flow.

Stubbornness is like idolatry in 1 Samuel 15 v 22 - 23: "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king."

So if we are rebellious or stubborn there is strong sin controlling us and as the Lord rejected King Saul from being king, He will reject us from flowing in the Spirit with others as it would compromise the anointing.  We feel this anointing at its highest level when in the divine flow and through it He leads and guides us into all truth.  Therefore anything or anybody that would taint it would be excluded.

If you are really struggling against your blockages then go on a water-only fast for 3 or more days.  Tune the world out switch off TV, read the Bible only, listen to gospel music and pray for the Lord to reveal your problem areas.  He will be delighted to have your attention and will help you to break down your walls.

While fasting you can do the Jericho walk around your house 7 times, praising God for breaking all bondage over your home.  Make sure that all objects like statues, busts, heads, all religious emblems like rosaries, altars, Buddha statues and books, porn and other evils on your laptop or phone are deleted, and anything else that offends Jesus is destroyed.

The Lord Jesus Christ wants to have personal fellowship with every one of us.  He wants us to walk and talk as He did, without shame, without guile, without hidden agendas.  He will rebuke hypocrites and tear down anything religious.  He will build and plant where people are real with Him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we love You and desire to flow in the Spirit with You.  Those who worship You must worship in Spirit and in truth.  As we raise our hands to You, You lift us up into a close intimacy with You, which Jesus died to restore for us all.  Please help us to always be in harmony with Your Spirit to remain in Your grace and love.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
