Scripture: 1 John 2 v 27: "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."
Daniel 10 v 7 - 10: "And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands."
We know we are in a ministry anointed by God when we have an encounter with Jesus, before or after His Earthly life, and a hand touches us and brings us to our knees.
Like Paul on the road to Damascus, Daniel alone saw the vision and a great quaking fell upon their companions who fled. The presence of Jesus has this effect on people. Some draw near, some disappear. I the case of Daniel and Paul, Jesus wanted to anoint them for His own purpose in their lives.
Daniel noticed he had no physical strength but the touch of Jesus brought life back to Him. Like John in Revelations 1. This touch sets one who is anointed apart from everyone else. He or she becomes a chosen vessel to accomplish a definite purpose for God.
Daniel was given prophecies of great importance concerning the coming of Jesus to Earth and for the time of the end. One of my favourite verses is when he said, Knowledge shall increase, and many shall go to and fro. In my mind's eye I thought of him having a vision of modern day Los Angeles.....seeing the skyscrapers, the clover leaf highways in rush hour, and LAX airport with planes landing and taking off. One day I hope to ask him about that!
David was anointed king, warrior, priest and was of the Order of Melchizedec. He was a man after God's own heart, not because he was perfect, far from it, but he knew when he had offended God and was quick to repent and admit his errors. He had a very close fellowship with God and communicated with Him before the Ark of the Covenant frequently.
People separated to God under His pure anointing have deep revelations that often lead to revivals like Asuza Street revival in Los Angeles in 1906. This revival came when the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was restored to the Church with unknown tongues and prophecy flowing powerfully. It reached Wales and South Africa and England.
Our destructive enemy tried desperately to halt this amazing power of the Holy Spirit unleashed through chosen vessels like John G. Lake, Rees Howells, Christmas Evans, Jessie Penn Lewis among others, by causing a world war. Even that horrendous war and the ones that followed have not and cannot stop God's gift to the followers of Jesus, the unstoppable Holy Spirit.
The anointing He gives us causes the world system under Satan's control to be turned upside down. The chosen vessels have specific tasks to perform that causes the best laid plans of that evil mastermind to come to nought.
Let us look at Kazakhstan over this past month, once part of the USSR, it gained independence when Gorbachev fell and the USSR fell apart. This is a very wealthy oil-rich country, which also happens to be the headquarters of the Illuminati, aka Moriah. Over 200 years ago this Illuminati vowed to remove the name of Jesus Christ from this planet by the year 2000. Don't bet on it.
Suddenly, this country has been torn apart with uprisings from protesters bitter about the very steep rise in liquid petroleum gas prices that has hit them out of the blue. The mayor's palace and government buildings have been torched. The prayer warriors and Intercessors have the task of tearing down satanic strongholds, and firing flaming arrows to destroy demons and set people free. The Lord has heard and answered.
In South Africa our Parliament was set alight this week, the ungodly communist government is becoming increasingly unpopular especially over the destruction of state owned entities whose once lucrative coffers have been emptied into the wallets of the rich elite. Another vagrant smashed the windows of our Constitutional Court this same week. The Lord is not amused by the actions of the rulers.
Romans 8 v 27 - 28: "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
The comfort we draw from this is that our God has everything under His control. Everything. He has His people in place and if each one of us starts to see the big picture and starts to work towards the unity of the Body of Christ to remove all that divides us, we will know joy unspeakable and full of glory.
We cannot manufacture this anointing and those engaged in false, divisive doctrines, whose candle has been removed by Jesus, are busy doing just that. Any criticism or attempt to bring proper direction is met with hostility and rage, and the Lord has no alternative but to separate the sheep from the goats.
There are thousands of believers who have come out of churches who have lost their anointing but who do not know which church to trust and rather stay home and worship Jesus via social media. They would rather go solo than compromise their souls in churches that are heading into Interfaith or merging into groups like Chrislam. They know that God calls this an abomination.
Daniel through true faith and submission to God survived being thrown into the lion's den. His equally faithful friends who refused to bow to idols survived being thrown into a fiery furnace. Indeed Jesus met them in the fire, loosened their bonds, and there was not a blister or even the smell of smoke upon them.
It caused a blasphemous king to be converted to believing in the one true God.
If we remain faithful we will know the anointed presence of the Lord in every circumstance. If we walk the strait and narrow way with Jesus we will find the life He has for us. He says few there be that find it. It's because too many do the least necessary and choose not to seek His face nor live a holy life.
Many who are given clear directions by God choose to amend those anointed plans to suit themselves. They seem to believe that they know better than Him, not realising that His blessings, mercy, healing, or deliverance come to a screeching halt and they have brought this suffering upon themselves. People cannot treat a holy God this way but they seem indifferent to it. The Lord says, My people perish for lack of knowledge.
If we walk in the light of Jesus we will have fellowship with one another and the Blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sin. That's the true anointing. Stray into a false light and true fellowship becomes a real strain. Let us stay on the true path in the true light to bring Him honour and glory.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, the Body of Christ is made up of believers rather than churches. There is only one Church and that is the invisible, faithful, holy members of His Body. We are one in the Holy Spirit, and like-minded in love, fellowship and worship of our great King. Father Your arms are open wide for everyone to enter into fellowship with You, You gave free will for all to make their choice. We pray they all come in o God. In Jesus' name. Amen.
