Scripture: Daniel 8 v 19: "And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be."
Those words "at the time appointed" is an indication of how much Almighty God is in perfect control of everything that is happening on Earth right now, and all through the history of man.
Most of you know the revelation of the Six Days. It started in Heaven when the Bride of the Son of God, while preparing for the Marriage, fell under the spell of Lucifer the Archangel, as he wanted to prevent this marriage at all costs.
He wanted to take over the reins of Heaven, to exalt his imaginary throne above the throne of God. The marriage feast was planned to run for 7 days, during this time, at the pleasure of the Bridegroom, He would fetch His Bride, consummate the marriage, bring her into the feast to celebrate their love.
Lucifer was running out of time. He was at the main table at the feast, made an excuse to leave with the Bridegroom urging him to hurry, and went to the Bride and ravished her himself. War broke out in Heaven and Lucifer accused her of enticing him, planning this. He was thrown out of Heaven with his angels, taking the sullied Bride with him for leverage.
Our God, in His wisdom, held a council in which the Son of God declared, I am going after her! His Father said, You have got 7 Days to complete this marriage!
Others in that council meeting heard it all. Moses, David, Isaiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Samuel, and Zechariah prominent amongst them.
Satan, the Accuser, as Lucifer was now known, made negotiations for the ransom. The Son of God in exchange. She was already dead, shattered into many millions of fragments, which by command of God, were collected into 12 containers. The Bridegroom, in Heaven, was then covered with the bloodstained garments taking on her sin, which meant He would die and she would be brought back to life.
He was likewise fragmented in that dark place, and His Body, billions of fragments was collected into 7 large containers. All the torments unleashed on His Bride were now visited upon all His fragments. Each of those fragments became a soul. The origin of our souls.
God's time is always in the now. While these things were happening the Earth was being prepared for the billions of souls that would need extreme care to overcome the trauma. He had the fragments back in His hands and knew He had to restore each one to life. And remove all previous memories.
So Adam and Eve were the first to be in the Garden of Eden. They were on a replay of what happened in Heaven. A couple. God allowed Satan, the Serpent, to enter the Garden, and waited to see their reactions. With shock He realised that whatever hold Satan had on these souls was still very much in place.
He had others on the outside of Eden, who were proving difficult to control, and became worse as time went on. Hence, when there were a whole family of righteous people, He separated them into an Ark, filled with every animal, bird, insect, seeds of plants and trees, and wiped out every damaged-beyond-repair soul in sorrow.
He shortened man's lifespan, to move things forward more swiftly, to accomplish what needed to be done in the allotted time. He had inserted trusted, untainted leaders into the womb of Eve, who would appear at the right time in history to help His people in their dire need.
Satan knew God would try to outwit him and his ambitions. He knew when a Deliverer would be sent in, and he had all the boy babies slaughtered among the slaves of Egypt to spoil God's plan. Moses made it through into the Pharoah's palace to be brought up under his roof. Who was outwitted now?
He did the same thing when another Deliverer came to Israel, the prophesied King of the Jews. He had Herod slaughter all the baby boys, but Jesus got through when His parents took Him to Egypt until He was 12 years old.
Our God had set a timing on the speed at which all the replay of 'events before the world was formed' would happen. One day equals a thousand years, and a thousand years equals one day.
2 Peter 3 v 8 - 10: "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
We are right at the end of this allotted time. If you are a person who enjoys sport, we are actually in "extra time" and the final whistle can blow at any moment.
Our God has shown many things that are convincing us that the end is nigh. The only thing our Father is concerned about is the number of lost souls that He does not want to see perish. So it's up to us to fulfil the Great Commission Jesus gave us moments before He ascended into Heaven. Go into all the Earth and tell everyone about Me and teach them everything I have taught you.
When the Rapture occurs the Body of Christ will be reunited with the Head, Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom. The Bride, Israel, will still be on Earth, now aware that Satan is the lying imposter who told her Jesus was her enemy. She is running for her life into the mountains of Petra in Jordan, waiting for Him to rescue her.
It will happen after the Battle of Armageddon. He will hear her cry, Come Lord Jesus, after all the times she had rejected Him. It's been a long seven days!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your timing is perfect, Your plan is unfolding as it should and we worship You in Spirit and truth. Raise us up to fulfil the will of Jesus, and bring the lost to salvation. What a day of rejoicing that will be. In Jesus' name. Amen.
