1. At 7.22am today in the Philippines, the Taal volcano erupted causing the area around it to be evacuated as fears rose of a tsunami and further eruptions. This is the world's second most active volcano, this is the 38th time it has done so.
2. Putin is furious because another important ally has refused to participate in his mad war against Ukraine. China is now standing with Ukraine vowing never to attack its good friend, but rather sending financial aid to assist in stopping the destruction of the country.
This comes after one of Russia's Battle Commanders, Colonel Medvedev, a close friend of Putin, was run over by his own tank as the troops inside it could take no more. He died later in hospital.
Putin is now threatening to use his top secret weapon called the Doomsday Machine, a giant submarine that can generate a tsunami 300ft high to wipe out an entire nation.
