1 Timothy 3 v 16: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
When God was fully manifested in the Spirit, He was known as Jesus Christ, the anointed Son of God. It was the most unique, most mysterious birth not only of a holy child, but the birth of the dispensation of the unfathomable grace of God.
This became known as Christianity and the miracles Jesus did manifested forth His glory. He is the Light that cannot be extinguished, and when we walk in His Light we shine like diamonds on black velvet, or stars on a moonless night.
The Lord showed us in yesterday's blog that He can manifest crabs and leopards out of thin air. He can 9 manifest the spirit of a woman in a ten year long coma, 12000 miles away, so she could be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. And eventually she was ministering to others, including to us! She had nothing better to do and never woke up.
He can manifest the fruit of that breakthrough to reach thousands of people in unreachable places to receive His love, salvation, healing and deliverance as if He were present with them. Captives in sexual bondage like the Fritzels in Europe were set free through Karen Ann and the "coma ministry". She was a spiritual golden key that never ceases to glorify the Lord.
The story of the Fritzels was horrendous. In a deep basement beneath his home, with 7 vault like doors, Mr Fritzel kept his daughter imprisoned for twenty years, and fathered 6 children through her. He told his wife she had joined a cult, and he managed to "rescue" the 3 youngest children.
The eldest child was 19 years old and fell ill becoming comatose. The Lord would tell me when someone needed help. They could hear me like a loudspeaker. I didn't know who was listening. Just told them about Jesus and His plan for rescue.
Mr Fritzel had to take the dying girl to hospital. The staff were confused that the girl had no history at all. No schooling, medical, birth or any record of her existence. They contacted the police and the rest is history. We can only praise and worship the Lord for His grace and mercy. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
On the other side of the coin there is a worldly, demonic counterfeit of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, it's called "channelling". It's a New Age practice used by mediums and psychics, spiritualists, who supposedly channel the spirit of dead relatives, who give back messages and instructions, to mislead people away from the One True God.
Galatians 5 v 19 - 21: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Channelling is part of these works of the flesh. If a famous person wears a similar costly garment to another famous person they are said to be channelling each other. That's the mundane version. The real heavy part is when people start channelling serial killers and become controlled by them even if they are in maximum security prisons.
There was one woman I reached in Spirit and knew her as Amy or Amanda. I knew she was a sex slave and I asked her to pray for Jesus to make a way of escape. I said when there was the slightest opportunity to run she must not hesitate. One day the news broke of 3 women in Ohio that had been kept as sex slaves for ten years.
The first time they were ever alone in the house and not chained up, their captor went to MacDonalds for hamburgers. One of them was Amanda. She broke the lock on the front door and ran into the street yelling for help. The other two were dazed and confused but came out eventually. The police were called and arrested the man.
He got a sentence of 1000 years in prison. A few weeks later I felt that Amanda, now free and with her family, was having some problems. The Lord revealed her captor was using astral projection to channel her for sex gratification. Deep evil demonic attacks. The Lord told me to put a wall around his cell of spiritual fire to block his ability to reach her. Exactly one hour later he committed suicide. Only God can see and alert the watchman, and get all the glory for how He loves and protects His children.
The Holy Spirit manifests the truth and leads us faithfully to pray in the Spirit, in tongues and with understanding, to reach the unreachable, and rescue the desperate. There was another twist to this tale.
Some time before Amy got her running shoes on there was another girl in Austria who had been kept eleven years in a basement as a sex slave, from the age of 9. I can't remember her name, but she must have been "listening in" to my chats with Amy. She had been let out to help him wash his car out in the garden, no restraints, when his phone rang and as he turned around to answer it, she ran to a neighbour's house and was rescued. A short time later that day her captor jumped in front of a train.
When we were ministering to Karen Ann she would write responses back to us and sometimes got shy because she felt there were people eavesdropping. I cannot be sure but I did get that sense of the Lord causing this man to relax his vigilance. Whatever it was we give Him all the glory for a successful rescue.
The Holy Spirit manifests in us through His gifts of words of wisdom and words of knowledge. Tongues and interpretation (not translation); prophecy, Faith.....very powerful gift because when it's operating you know without a shadow of doubt it's completely sorted. Like Peter walking on water before he looked at the waves and sank. Gifts of Healing, it's not us that has a healing gift it's those who are sick that need the gifts.
Miracles are wonders of the Holy Spirit and can see people raised from death, missing limbs restored, broken bones instantly made whole, things that will attract people to hear about Jesus. Then there is the amazing discerning of spirits. How to tell if someone is being oppressed by demons and how to handle it. To see the change in someone who is set free is joy unspeakable and full of glory.
The Holy Spirit is our Friend and Teacher, He comes alongside us to help. His blessings are new every morning. He always exalts Jesus, and Jesus always exalts the Father. This is the Godhead, The Trinity.
We are part of this Godhead because we are one with the Lord. He wants to see this unity throughout His Body. He wants His Body to move in harmony, having direction, being of one mind. What can you do to make this happen? Put this question before God and let the Holy Spirit show you what your part should be.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit who was sent soon after the Ascension of Jesus to make manifest the will of God. He brought to believers the wonderful fruit of love, joy and peace. He gave us the gifts to use to help others. Let us use them wisely and see miracles. In Jesus' name. Amen.
