Scripture: Jeremiah 29 v 11 - 13: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
We live in a time when governments are desperate to find a workable plan to extricate themselves from generations of bad decisions. These have escalated into various global crises and every solution is like putting bandaid on a gangrene infection.
Unfortunately, they belong to a global club that is controlled by an unseen puppet master whose only plan is the utter destruction of anything and anyone God loves. From this planet to every human upon it.
John 10 v 10: "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Our Saviour knows what we are up against. A thief. A liar. A destroyer of all that is good. An enemy that is all the more dangerous because time is running out. This enemy knows the Word of God and hates it. His henchmen have done much harm in getting it rejected from schools.
Well those Gen Z children denied the Bible in school are suddenly devouring it in universities across America! God's plan is in action. And its spreading to other nations, the move of God to revive His children. It has spread to big city streets. God will not be denied nor forgotten.
If we search for Him with all our hearts He will be found.
There are two groups of people on this planet at any one time. Those who follow Jesus Christ to Heaven, and those who reject Him and do their own thing. Or actually the Devil's thing. Those are the only options from God's point of view.
If we are followers of Jesus, His one aim is to rescue those still lost in the wrong kingdom. He died for them too. No matter how bad they are, His Blood is available and able to cleanse them of all unrighteousness.
Isaiah 55 v 6 - 7: "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon."
God's plan is simple. He needs the born again Christians to do His perfect will to reach out to the lost and bring them home by any means possible. Any Father or Mother with a missing child like Maddie McCann, never stops searching, making appeals, crying in the night. Our Father is no different. He longs for all to be saved. He sent His Son to die to make it happen.
What can you do to carry out His will? You need a strong relationship with Jesus. The more you know Him the more the will of God will be revealed to you.
You need the power of the Holy Spirit to anoint you to make Jesus real to sinners.
Revelation 12 v 10 - 11: "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
To reveal Jesus to the lost you may need to bind up the works of Satan who has blinded their minds - brainwashed them - with lies. Your testimony, your joy of salvation, your goodness, kindness, self-control and love, all work together to attract their attention. The Holy Spirit is also at work convicting them of sin.
It's not our job to point out their sinful behaviour, that's God's job. We are there to confront lies with truth. To prepare the hearts and minds for the Great I Am to move in and change them. To be a mentor not a tormentor.
The Lord will guide us when we ask Him. Just be ready, willing and able to follow His directions. I was a young Christian collecting someone from a hospital appointment but she was not in the agreed place. I asked the Lord to lead me to her. He gave explicit directions. I ended up in a private ward where a strange lady was hooked up to many drips. She was spitting up.
I turned to go but she called me to come to her. She asked me to help her. I said the only help I could give her was prayer. She said please pray. Her name was Loraine. I prayed for Jesus to heal her. She told me she was dying. I prayed with her for salvation. Then I left and immediately found the lady I was looking for.
The next day I went to visit Loraine but her bed was empty and the thought was that she had died, but at least was with Jesus now. I asked the nurse who said, Loraine had a miraculous recovery. She said a woman prayed for her and she was completely healed and discharged today. How faithful is our God. All I could do was introduce her to Jesus. He did everything needed.
Prayer: Heavenly Father You are our inspiration! You need everyone to come home. That's the desire of Your heart. There is only one way they can come, that's through Jesus, the way, truth and life. Use every one of us dear Lord to accomplish the Father's will and bring Him joy. In Jesus' name. Amen.
