Scripture: 2 Timothy 3 v 15 - 17 "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
The Holy Bible is the one true infallible standard in this crazy mixed up world. It has 39 books in the old Testament and 27 books in the New. Most written by different authors over a span of 3500 years. All of them agree with one another, which is a miracle of God. It proves its divine nature and that its God's Word.
In the Old Testament there are 333 prophecies pertaining to one person, Jesus Christ. Every one of them was 100% accurate. From His being conceived by a virgin, His birth in Bethlehem, His wisdom to be called the Everlasting Counsellor, His miracles of healing and deliverance, His trial and agonising death, His rich man's grave etc. It was all prophesied long before He came to Earth to save us.
The Word of God is true. In 40 years I have never once been misled by it. Its warnings are accurate; the promises are accurate; the life teachings are accurate. The Bible is called the Manufacturer's Handbook. All humans need this handbook to function at their best. Follow the instructions and enjoy a healthy, fruitful and prosperous life.
John 1 v 1 - 3: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Jesus is the Word made visible. The whole Bible is His CV. God gave the Word, Jesus made this world and us by making God's Word effective. Jesus created everything based on our Father's spoken Word. "Let their be light", and Jesus who is the light, sent the light visibly to dispel the darkness. Wherever their is light, it comes from the Son.
John 1 v 14 - 15: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me."
The Seed of the Father was implanted in Mary's womb by the Holy Ghost. She was a young virgin woman engaged to Joseph. He left her when he found out she was pregnant but rescued her from being stoned to death for her sin. An angel told Joseph he could safely marry her, which he did.
The Seed was Jesus, the Word was made flesh and lived among us. His conception was unique in history. He is God made visible to us. If you have seen Me you have seen the Father. It follows from Genesis...Let us make man in our image. The Godhead of the Trinity were present in Eden.
They are in perfect unity. It's not 1 +1+1 = 3! It's 1 x 1 x 1 =1. When God says He will live within us and be one with us then it's 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. We are in unity with God. Let us live pure lives to be worthy of Him.
The Holy Bible is written by the true inspiration of our Creator who wants to save us from the awful consequences of sin. There is only one Saviour and one name who can save mankind, Jesus Christ. Until we have a personal relationship with Him through acknowledging that He took our death to which we were already condemned because of our sins, so that we can live for Him in a pure and righteous way.
The alternative will result in hearing Him say on the Day of Judgment four very chilling words: "I never knew you". He means that He never had a personal relationship with you, and you never knew Him either. Do not let the enemy of your soul keep you from Jesus, Heaven, our Father, for one more moment.
Your name must be written in the Lamb's book of life to be allowed into Heaven. Be sure of it and say this prayer now:
"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, who died in my place to justify me.
Please forgive me all my sins (..name them).
I forgive everyone who ever hurt me (...name them). Please change me from sinner to saint.
I take back every hurtful word, curse, judgment I made on people, nations, situations.
I repent of all gossip or slander, spoken or written, that causes people to be belittled and rejected.
Father please cleanse me with the shed Blood of Jesus Christ so all these wrong things will be blotted out of my soul.
Father release me from all addictions to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, porn, sexual sin, and heal my body of all disease.
Jesus, I invite You to come into my clean new heart and be my Lord and Saviour. Please write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. I promise to daily pray, praise, study the Bible and have fellowship with other Christians. I am now born again!
Thank You Jesus for Your love and salvation. Amen."
