Scripture: Romans 14 v 5 - 6: "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks."In many parts of the world today is a holiday. It is called different names but the most popular are Labour Day or Worker's Day. Paul and our Lord Jesus have no objections to celebrating a holiday as long as it is a blessing to everyone.
Here in South Africa its called Workers Day but some areas have called off their rallies and celebrations. Its because so many have lost their jobs since the pandemic and the subsequent economic chaos that puts our chances of survival as a nation as being in jeopardy.
Let's start by finding out about this holiday. It first became a holiday in the United States of America on 1st May 1776. This was the day the Illuminati branched out from Europe, where it was founded by a German philosopher called Adam Weishaupt. Together with M de Voltaire, in whose home the Illuminati had their meetings, the agenda was set to destroy Christianity.
So when Communism was started at the end of WW1 with the wipe out of the Russian royal family by the Bolsheviks, the anti-Christian agenda began there just over 100 years ago. The state became God and all other religions were outlawed. The USSR put up their Iron Curtain after WW2 to keep people inside, and stop undesirables like Christians and Bibles coming in.
No wonder Mayday became a SOS to this day! Bibles, Churches and homes were burned and people imprisoned for their faith because of Communism. It spread to other parts of the world and is a menace in China, North Korea (given to the Kim family by Stalin after WW2 for being good Communists) and North Vietnam.
The Illuminati was originally formed back in the 15th century by the Black Pope, Ignatius Loyola in Spain. The Black Pope was head of the intelligence service of the Vatican. This man started the Spanish Inquisition in 1478, torturing and murdering anyone who did not adhere to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
Revelation 17 v 5 - 9: "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth."
This was the vision St. John saw on the isle of Patmos concerning the church of Rome, the Vatican. Roman Catholicism became a blend of Christianity and the Old Babylonian religion under Baal. In Revelation 16 John refers to Rome as Babylon and again in the above passage.
Mary is worshipped as co-Redeemer with Jesus in this religion. It's not the Mother of Jesus but the goddess Semiramis, mother of Baal, who was Nimrod. She made him a god then married him so she could be a goddess. Hence the unflattering names God calls her through John's writings.
So in whatever way you celebrate today, consider its origins please pray for people to be born again and set free of the judgment of God. He loves them all but even His love cannot go against the free will He has given every person. It's up to us to inform the world of the truth about Jesus. We are witnesses that He is alive today because we know Him, and His love, and the wonderful way He has changed us.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the Bible that shows us the truth about life. Sometimes we are just ignorant of the origin of certain days. Help us to pray for those sinners who are in need of the wonderful salvation You freely give us. Let everyone's name be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
