Scripture: Proverbs 2 v 1 - 5: "My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God."
O Lord we declare Your greatness because Your name is higher than any other name. There is nothing that You have not made, nothing left undone in all Your magnificent creation.
You are the author and finisher of our faith. You fashioned it so that it could grow and accomplish mighty things in Your name. Let us be about our Father's business, seeking His will and doing it perfectly.
You have revived us out of sleep to be alive in You Lord. There is no life outside of You. You are our life as You have swallowed up death in victory. You have raised us from the dead and put our feet upon the Rock so that we have a secure place. Our feet cannot slip nor stumble when we walk according to Your teachings.
Many have fallen into quicksand being sucked in by false reports, lies and scriptures twisted out of shape. We will extend the hands of wisdom and truth towards those sinking helplessly into eternal death. We will show them the path that leads to life, the pure words in the Holy Bible, the simplicity of salvation, the peace that comes from Jesus within our hearts.
We will pray earnestly for their faith to spring up as new grass, to open their eyes to eternal life, the love of God, the joy of fellowship, the tears of repentance. Father send the Holy Spirit to convict them of sin, righteousness and judgment until they seek beauty for ashes and cry out to You.
We are washed in the Blood of Jesus and this cleanses us of all sin as soon as we confess and repent to our Father in Heaven. The power in Your Blood protects us from evil and causes demons and diseases to fail around us. We do not need to plead for the Blood as it is always available to be applied to our body and soul.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my steps. Your Word never fails me. It is anointed with power to its very depths to heal me and make me whole. Let us submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. If we do not challenge him he has permission to invade.
If a thief breaks into your home and we don't challenge his right to be there, he will take whatever he pleases and may cause harm. We have spiritual weapons and prayer warfare but its too much for one person or group. Everybody must stand up against evil and condemn it.
Our God has given us authority and Lord we will use it to fight the good fight. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood people but against spirit beings in high places that are full of wickedness. They are subject to us when we command them to cease and desist.
We are in the season of the last days. We see the tribulations beginning, affecting so many lives globally every day. Major storms, earthquakes, wild seas, fires, many deaths and injuries. Finances spiralling out of control, famine, war, antisemitism, persecution of Christians. Through the fear we are sure of one thing.....our faith in Jesus, in His salvation, that if we remain faithful to the end we are His for eternity.
We declare our love for our Father, for His Son, Jesus Christ, for our constant Comforter, the Holy Spirit. We are thankful for every blessing, every spiritual gift, the fruit that comes from Grace, all healing and deliverance we have received. We choose to be obedient to Your will,
in Jesus' name. Amen.
