Scripture: Psalms 54 v 2 - 7: "Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies."
Yesterday morning Israel came under a surprise attack from about 1000 Hamas terrorists some of whom were inside Israel's borders. Three hundred Israelis have died, over a thousand have been wounded.
That this happened on the Sabbath plus the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles reminds us of the Six Day War in 1967 which was when Syria attacked on Yom Kippur. Through the power of God that war was won and Israel regained the Old City of Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Thousands of rockets from Gaza have been fired into different parts of the land. Most have been neutralized by the magnificent Iron Dome shield. Those that missed have done damage, one hitting a hospital were those wounded were being treated. Hamas have acknowledged responsibility.
It's good to see major nations supporting Israel even the Empire State Building had the colours of her flag lit up upon it. President Biden had strong words of rallying behind Israel. However, this seemed a bit shallow after he gave Iran $6 billion aid on Sept 11 2023. Not even a month ago. Iran support Hamas.
Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and Gaza have sworn to wipe out all Jews. They are fighting a losing battle against the power of Almighty God Himself. He calls Israel the Apple of God's Eye. She is His chosen out of all the people on Earth.
He chose Abraham to be the Father of Israel, took him from his own land among the pagan Chaldeans and led him to the Promised Land. His son Isaac begat Jacob and Esau, and Jacob's name was changed by God to Israel.
Romans 9 v 4 - 5: "Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen."
Before Abraham there was Noah, his wife and 3 sons, Shem, Ham and Japhet, plus their wives, the only 8 people on the planet in their day whom God felt were worthy to be saved from the world wide flood. Only pairs of every land animal, birds, reptiles and insects were spared to replenish the Earth.
Shem was a mighty man who finally defeated the Babylonian monster, Nimrod, on a battleground in Egypt. Nimrod was feared throughout the known world and called by different names in the lands he conquered: Tammuz, Adonis, Osiris, Hercules.
Shem was also known as Hercules after he slew Nimrod and made it known to all the lands he occupied that he was finally dead. The people who were born from Shem were known as Shemites and through time known as Semites. The Jews.
From this we get the word anti-Semitic or haters of Jews. It stems from the original Babylonians who hated Shem for killing Nimrod. They cursed Shem and all his descendants with eternal destruction and annihilation. A never-ending curse being played out right now.
Israel has already retaliated. The places from which Hamas operate in Gaza are now rubble. It's unconfirmed but believed that the commander of Hamas was killed in his house too. Israel has declared all out war in the early hours of today. Qatar is accusing Israel of starting this war. Friendly Arab States are asking for it not to escalate.
A young woman, a German tourist was kidnapped and murdered. Her naked body was paraded through the streets. Her devastated mother is pleading for her body to be returned to the family. A large group of young women have been kidnapped and unimaginable horrors are occurring.
In Berlin and London Palestinians are visibly cheering for Hamas to keep going, glorifying in every dead Israeli. The Taliban have approached Jordan, Iran and Syria to allow their army to cross their lands so they can finish off Israel. They have $84 billion worth of battle armaments that the USA left behind when it quit Afghanistan, and this would be a good time to use them.
This is part of the revelations given to the Apostle John on the Isle of Patmos when he was 90 years old.
Revelation 16 v 12 - 17: "And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done."
The Euphrates River has already dried up! The last days are truly upon us! Are we ready to meet Jesus? Time is running out and the world is in turmoil. We have faith in God to protect Israel and Christians who are the Body of Christ. He said He would never leave us nor forsake us and He means it.
When David who was one day to be crowned King of Israel, was just seventeen, and a shepherd, he brought food to King Saul and the Israelite army. They were cowering in their tents unable to find a man who could meet the challenge to fight Goliath a ten foot tall Philistine.
The power of God was upon David and he took the challenge. He had no armour, no weapons, just a sling and 5 stones. He had the Lord's strength. He only needed one stone to kill the giant, who was laughing his head off at the time.
I pray that that same anointing that was upon David will be upon the entire Israeli army today and that the people rejoicing in this terror attack will regret it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father we pray for Israel to be safe and protected from Hamas and these rockets. We pray for the peace upon Jerusalem and all Israel. The whole world is watching this evil unfold. Open their eyes to the truth, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
