Brokenness

Scripture:  Jeremiah 18 v 3 - 6: "Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4  And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5  Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6  O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel."

2 Corinthians 1 v 3 - 4: "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4  Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

Matthew 26 v 74 -75: "Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
75  And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly."

Brokenness is when God begins to deal with our souls, which were damaged by Satan from the foundation of the world.  The world began when Satan challenged Almighty God for control of the Universe:

Isaiah 14 v 12 -14: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."

Satan put his own plan into action while still in Heaven where he was known as Archangel Lucifer.  The Marriage of the Son of God to His beautiful Bride was about to take place and that would forever spoil his evil plan so he wrecked that wedding by seducing the Bride on her wedding day.  When war broke out in Heaven because of his sin, he kidnapped her and took her to his new realm.  As Lucifer lost his shine so did his angels begin to dim their lights.

In this dark realm her soft warm spirit turned hard and brittle as she was abused in every way by Satan, Lucifer's new name.  He brainwashed her into believing he was her true husband, and the Son of God was the fake imposter she must reject or lose

In Heaven, where the demands of Satan were being considered, Jesus volunteered to be the Ransom for His hostage Bride.  He took on her sin, her pain, her memories, her destruction by putting on the bloody garments she left behind.

Zechariah 3 v 1 - 3: "And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2  And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3  Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel." (Joshua is the Hebrew name of Jesus)

He went down into that realm where He was slain by the command of His brainwashed Bride who screamed "Off with His head" thrilled to put an end to the torment she thought He was inflicting upon her.

Revelation 13 v 8 - 9: "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the Beast), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9  If any man have an ear, let him hear."

The Lamb of God was slain from the foundation of the world, Satan's domain, but it was all planned in Heaven With our Father as a strategy to rescue His Bride.  This is still a spiritual event as Earth had not yet been formed.  His Spirit Body was shattered into tiny fragments.  The Father commanded that every fragment be collected into seven containers.

After this Satan had no more need of the Bride for the leverage was used to get rid of the Son of God, his rival, to be the next in line to rule the universe.  Her body was likewise shattered into millions of fragments and it filled 12 containers.  Satan kept these as  trophy while sending the Head of God's Son back to the Father.

We who are alive today need to hear and understand that everything that happened in the spiritual realm of Heaven and Satan's kingdom must manifest in the physical on this Earth.

When the Lord was revealing this to me He gave me Mark 1 v 1: "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God".  This is the beginning of how and why we are on Planet Earth.  It was made for the dead fragments of those two bodies to be brought back to life and healed of the malicious and evil treatment they had been subjected to.

God made this beautiful Earth after restoring the head of His broken Son to life.  The first two humans  we're the first two fragments of His Body, now called souls.  Each fragment of His Body is called a soul which carries His DNA.  He took on the sin of His Bride to die for her.  Therefore every fragment of His Body is born in sin.  And our spirit is dead because of it.

A vessel of clay describes the flesh of man because Adam was made out of clay. A beautiful statue into whom God breathed the breath of life that would continue as long as there are babies being born. When Adam sinned he was cast out of God's presence until the second, perfect Adam was born. His name is Jesus Christ.  The first Adam was a type of Jesus taking on the sin of His Bride and being cast out of Heaven.  Eve came from Adam's side and just as Satan had beguiled the Bride in Heaven, he knew exactly how to win her over because the brainwashing was still part of her psyche.  And she persuaded Adam to disobey God and follow him.

The Bride is Israel, hated by Satan who wants her destroyed by the world he made.  The Bridegroom is made of the followers of Jesus and are known for their love.  And for their love of Israel.  And it all starts when we feel shattered by some tragedy or trauma in our own lives.  Genesis is not the beginning of everything, it is the beginning of our redemption and of God's direct dealing with Man.  This Earth is a hospital for the broken!

Brokenness can best be seen in Jeremiah where the potter breaks the vessel that is damaged or imperfect and reworks the clay until He makes a vessel He can use.

God's dealings with us follow the pattern in Jeremiah 1 v 10 - root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, then build and plant. First we have to root out the evil trees and weeds that have grown in our souls and manifested in our flesh.

We must root out our rebellion and bitterness and pride. Pull it down and destroy it. Fall out of agreement with the enemy within and be ruthless. This would equate with Jesus destroying the marred vessel of clay. Once the problem area has been cleared then we can build upon it good habits and behaviour and Jesus will plant good seeds in us.

But the process is a shattering experience that goes way deeper than flesh and soul because it rips the soul away from our spirit so that the oppression will leave and we can then grow spiritually and experience greater fellowship with our Father and Jesus. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will become more fruitful and we will see our spiritual fruit growing.

So although brokenness is a defining moment it is a beneficial pain that will reap a good harvest for God's kingdom. Peter had his defining moment when the cock crowed. Jesus knew that Peter had denied knowing Him three times that night of His arrest. Peter wept bitterly from the pain of that betrayal. This fisherman preached to the multitudes after the ascension of Jesus into heaven.

The institution of Holy Communion at the Passover Seder which was the Last Supper, started with Jesus taking unleavened bread, meaning sinless bread, and breaking it into pieces saying, This is My Body broken for you, do this in remembrance of Me.  He was not referring to the Cross, still in the future, but to that first shattering, which the Bride was party to, to try break through the brainwashing.  Unsuccessfully.

John 1 v 10 - 11: "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not."

As she had rejected Him in Heaven, then in Satan's domain, then in Eden so she would reject Him after His arrest.  Satan entered into Judas at the Last Supper.  Judas said to Jesus that he had to go out to do something.  Jesus said, What you have to do, do quickly!  It brought the agony of Lucifer's seduction and betrayal in Heaven - a horrible memory that had caused all the anguish ever since.  When Pontius Pilate offered to pardon Jesus, The Jews, the Bride, said Crucify Him. (Off with His Head she said in Satan's domain.)  She will betray Him again when she signs a Seven Year Peace Treaty with the Antichrist.  It's coming very soon now, and all because of the present terrible drama over the hostages in Gaza going through a living Hell!  We have come full circle!

Paul had his brokenness on the road to Damascus when the Resurrected Jesus appeared to him and asked why Paul was persecuting Him. Paul was blind and dumb with shock and it turned him from a Jesus-hating Pharisee into a most powerful Christian ambassador.

John the Baptist, who Jesus said was Elijah, hailed Jesus as the Bridegroom and was overjoyed that Israel could hear His voice!  John 3 v 29: "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled."

If we have to go through this breaking, and we all do, then let us do it with grace and understanding. Our Creator is removing negative problems from our lives and some of them are going to hurt. We need to trust Him to do what is best for us and not murmur and complain because we are not getting our own way.

To be part of the body of Jesus we have to lose our independence. We gain freedom of spirit, wisdom, knowledge and experience of the corporate life of being a member of God's family. We learn to love one another when we are not always in our Sunday best. We learn to receive love even when we least deserve it.

We do not have to know or believe any of this revelation to be born again.  I think it would help Israelis to know the truth about why they were Chosen, given their own land, forbidden to marry non-Jews, loved and forgiven and restored to their land.  Now they can understand why Satan through Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran want them dead.  It also helps us to know, teach, preach and pray in the right directions.

Therefore we should not fear brokenness but be swift to learn the lesson and grow past the pain. Through the breaking we will reach our full potential when our lives have been rebuilt to the Lord's satisfaction. We will have lost the thing we thought our life depended on and will now truly understand what it means to love the Lord Jesus Christ.  And welcome His lovely reformed Bride when she finally says in Revelation 22, Come Lord Jesus!  What a day of rejoicing that will be.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we really don't like pain but when it brings us to a new understanding of ourselves and our place in the Body of Jesus we welcome it. Thank You for the life lessons that bring humility, trust, patience, faith, love and acceptance.   Our eyes are on the skies waiting for the Rapture so the Body of the Bridegroom can be made whole!  In Jesus' name. Amen.
