Scripture: Matthew 24 v 4: "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."
1 John 3 v 7 - 8: "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."
My quest in life is to know what is tried and true, and to discern what is evil. So many people have been, and are being, deceived that there must be a fight back against it. The enemy of our souls fears truth because he is the Chief Liar. He has overwhelmed the world with fake news to hide his evil ways.
The Holy Bible was breathed by God into the spirits of those chosen to write it, and whether men have edited it, they too were used by God to leave us with a powerful guide into truth and holiness. So many have criticized the Bible trying to discredit it, but it is the living Word and has proven true to those who truly know God.
The godless nations remove the Bible from schools to prevent children from being taught truth that will eventually speak out against godless ideologies. It is bringing about lawlessness, anarchy, violent protests, violent deaths, all of which can be blamed on the Arch-deceiver, Satan, himself.
Deception is a root from which pride grows strongly. The sort of pride that never accepts blame for any wrongdoing. There is never any apology, honesty, accountability or common decency in those filled with pride. Their arrogance leads them to eventually fall into the hole they have dug for others.
Jesus calls Satan the Father of Lies, and of Himself He says, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to My Father except through Me. Satan's emissaries teach that all ways lead to God. A favourite saying among Freemasons and other cults.
If anyone is believing in any religion that the way to God and Heaven excludes following Jesus, they will be bitterly disappointed at the end result. They are deceived and strongly deluded, do not follow their ways or you will not enjoy eternity with our Father.
Jesus warns us against false prophets, or those who claim to be Him. This includes the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, who is called Vicar of Christ. This means substitute for Christ. Or he is Christ's only true representative on this planet. You have to commit yourself to him, the Pope, to make it to Heaven. Through Purgatory. With Mary's help!
Yes, she is Co-Redeemer with Jesus for salvation. She intercedes for the human race to beg Him to accept the sinners with whom He is so angry. This is Catholic Doctrine of total deception. It is a confusion of religions from the Babylonian cult of Baal worship mixed with Christianity to make it respectable. It doesn't! Nor do other cults or sects producing strange fire and false promises.
Jesus endured the Cross with joy because He knew it was salvation through His Blood that was truly acceptable to God. Mary was not hanging next to Him. She was never designated by God to plead for sinners. Any communication with her is counted as sin for talking to the dead. It is an occult practice called Spiritualism using psychics and mediums that demons called "familiar spirits" use to impersonate dead family members. A deception that leads many away from Jesus into occultism, confusion and sorrow.
Purgatory is cooked up to extract money for every dead soul to have Mass said so they can get out of the fire soonest. If they are in the fire they will never come out of it. There are many expensive masses said for the most forgotten souls in Purgatory. There is no such place. Do not be deceived or robbed for the Vatican to buy more gold.
There are many cults with wolves in sheep's clothing trying to look Christian enough to pull in gullible people who will pay through the nose for the privilege of being deceived. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science, especially Freemasonry.
There are many sects with bizarre salvation practices like after you have declared Jesus is your Lord you must walk through a pit of poisonous snakes and scorpions to prove God has accepted you if you live. Because it says in Mark 16 that the sign of a believer is that snakes and scorpions cannot harm you. We should also not tempt God by putting ourselves in harm's way unnecessarily.
We need the gift of discerning of spirits by the Holy Ghost to know truth and error. Through prayer to our Father to show us if we are being deceived in any way in the place where we worship. Are all doctrines, foundational beliefs approved by God? Ask and you shall receive. Don't ask and you may be deceived.
The Church is not a place where sinners should feel comfortable. The Church is the sanctuary for believers. Sinners should be evangelised outside the church and then brought in for ministry and instruction. Sinners must be convicted by the Holy Spirit, a painful process, so if they are comfortable in church the Holy Spirit is absent. The Body of Christ is anointed but bringing the carnal world into the sanctuary compromises that pure anointing and grieves the Holy Spirit.
In many churches there is no time for sinners to repent. If they answer the altar call they just declare Jesus is Lord and are then told they are born again. They are given a booklet to say what they must do next. This is watered down Christianity and many backslide into the world from which they never really left.
Over the years many have come to me for help. Most of them never got saved properly and were amazed at the difference in their lives after they had truly repented. Many problems in people's lives stem from things God does to us because of disobedience.
Matthew 18 v 34 - 35: "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses."
If we do not forgive from our hearts, not just a verbal mindless - I have forgiven everyone - then our Father will hand us over to tormentors like debt, fear, worry, nerves, relationship problems etc. Why because He is mean? Never, its because He loves us and wants our full attention. We cannot justify our own sins. Jesus died to do that for us.
So, dearly beloved, do not be deceived. Check out everything. Don't be quick to judge but seek the Lord for answers. You will be so glad you did.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we can be gullible creatures who need to know the difference between truth and error. If we have been deceived help us to know the truth and apply it to our lives. Thank You for Your love and concern for us. Show us the truth please Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
