The Fate of the Reprobate

Scripture:  Romans 1 v 28 - 32: "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

The Lord has been impressing upon me to make clear to those who still do not "get it".  That which our Father will not permit to be in Heaven for eternity!  I kept running into the word "reprobate" this week so rather than dodge it or procrastinate its time to do it.  For starters a reprobate describes someone who is very unlikely to ever be saved.

Just looking at the above verses sounds like Satan's character assessment.  I checked in the dictionary and got words like monster, savage, wretch, corrupt, depraved, perverted, degenerate, debauched and so on.  This sounds like words I would use for ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Taliban and other psychopathic terrorists.

Satan causes chaos, fear, mayhem, torture, torment, disease and death.  He will be sentenced on Judgment Day to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire.  Our God never intended Hell for mankind, only for him, his fallen angels and demons.

Isaiah 5 v 13 - 15:  "Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14  Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15  And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:"

Our Father loves His children and is not wanting any to perish and be lost.  More than this He hates sin and if we are not walking in the light we are being disobedient or doing evil things.  Our Father sent Jesus to die in our place.  Only a completely sinless person could take it on and die, and come back to life justified.

Jesus is our only hope.  He is our Righteousness.  He is our Advocate.  If Satan accuses the born again saints before God commanding His condemnation of us, Jesus takes our place and says, I did it.  God says You are forgiven.  Case dismissed.  This is our salvation at work, but we can fall back into the world and never repent = change our mind about sin.

1 Peter 4 v 17 - 19: "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator."

What shall be the end of them that do not obey the Gospel?  Peter faced that end when he denied Jesus Christ 3 times before the cock crowed.  The Lord forgave him but it shocked Peter into obedience to the will of God.

There are churches that our Father has tried to correct through sending His prophets to speak a word to them.  Many times.  The word is rejected by proud pastors who argue that no one must come against the Lord's anointed.  They will have their candlestick (The Holy Spirit) removed from their assembly and never even notice.  The congregation is in jeopardy because they cling to their hero, the pastor.

On the day of Judgment they will hope that Jesus their Advocate will stand in the gap for them.  To their shock and horror they will hear Him say:  I never knew you! Depart from Me you workers of iniquity.  This is when our personal relationship with Jesus is at its most important stage.  Only this relationship gets us into Heaven.

Without this fellowship with Jesus through obedience to the will of the Father we are reprobate.  We have not desired to retain the knowledge of God in our hearts and minds.  We do our own thing believing God loves everyone and will be merciful to sinners.

He is merciful now.  While we have breath in our bodies to acknowledge and follow His Son.  This means read the Bible and obey all of it.  Become like Jesus in thought, word and deed.  Live a pure life.  Uplift the lowly, downtrodden people.  Share the gospel, pray for people in need, stay humble.  Love one another as Jesus loves you.

See Jesus in every person who calls themselves Christian.  They are being formed into the image of Him.  Do not slander, despise, condemn or hurt those who are clay in the Potter's hands.

Our work is to inform those that are still in darkness about the Light and draw them into it.  There be monsters, villains and perverse people who will be saved.  We have heard the wonderful testimonies.  There are saints who will lose it all through lust, addictions and rebellion against God.  We must try to prevent this loss.  It's not easy.  It's messy at times.  It takes genuine love for God to do it.  He is watching.

If the reprobates remain in a state of evil they can never be saved, never be in Heaven.  If they seek salvation Jesus will leave the 99 righteous to rescue that one lamb.  The Fate of a reprobate who dies in his sins is the unquenchable fire that will torment his spirit for eternity.  He or she will know that the salvation Jesus he or she rejected was everything and more needed to spare them from eternal separation from God.

Revelation 21 v 25 - 27: "And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26  And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

This is what was revealed to Apostle John about Heaven.  Those who bring glory and honour into it are welcome.  They are the righteous, obedient, perfect saints who followed the Lamb.

Lucifer was righteous until pride was found in him.  Through his fall the whole human race has to suffer, make choices and manifest righteousness to spend eternity in Heaven.  God will never allow one tiny sin back into Heaven.  We are too precious to Him to ever have to experience such choices again.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, we weep over sinners, pray for their eyes to be opened and their hearts of stone to be baby soft.  Let Your revival touch millions all over the world to know the Saviour and love Him.  Thank You for saving us Lord.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
