Scripture: John 9 v 3 - 7: " Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing."
There are two ways of looking at this passage, the spiritual and the physical. Jesus often spoke in parables but this was a real event. His parables were to illustrate spiritual truths by comparing them to familiar physical things like fields, corn, or seeds.
The words of Jesus are also prophetic. Here He says the night is coming when no man can work, so we must do what we can while it is day. Jesus says as long as He is in the world there will be light. He also immediately after saying this, opens the eyes of a blind man. Physically and spiritually, because such a man would believe in the salvation of Jesus. Darkness to light.
Living in South Africa with over ten years of rolling blackouts - last year - being the worst ever, working while it is light is a frightening reality. The domino effect is that, although our storage dams are full, the pumped water system has broken down through the on off electricity feed. So many are without water and power, especially the poor.
Since the pandemic many businesses have closed and many have lost their jobs. The Lockdown and the blackouts have had a devastating effect on our industries. We are surely heading into the night that is part of end time tribulations. This will affect the whole world which is already reeling from a severe global economic crisis. Our unemployment rate is equally scary. Over 50% of our youth are unemployed. The crime rate is out of control.
Revelation 16 v 10 - 12: "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."
In the past year videos and photographs have shown that the great Euphrates River which was even a border of the Garden of Eden, has dried up. This is in preparation for the vast eastern army that will march on Israel to utterly destroy her.
Since October 7 2023 there are calls for the destruction of Israel because they responded to the barbaric, savage murders, rapes and torture of 1200 Israelis by Hamas militants. The Muslim Brotherhood globally were alerted to the attack and by the time The IDF had started their response the call to annihilate Israel from the River to the Sea had gone out. The mobs gathered in all the capital cities to scream for Israel to Free Palestine and still do so.
Free Palestine means no more Israel. From the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea means no more Israel. Israel is fighting for its survival while even her friends are trying to stop the slaughter of 'innocent civilians' - all of which rejoiced at the horrendous attack on 10/7. And amongst these civilians the militants are invisible, protected, praised.
This is the core of the 200 million soldiers that will make up the army of Armageddon. We are seeing the rehearsal for it. There may be patches of better times ahead, but Jesus is urging me daily to keep informing you to take heed of the times we are heading into.
Israel is the Apple of God's Eye. He will protect her with the Archangel Michael from mass destruction. After the Rapture, Jesus and His Body of born again saints will arrive on the Plain of Meggido in Israel where the enemy armies will be marching. In one moment of time two thirds of them will be dead. 166 million dead. Instantly. The rest flee to hide under rocks and in caves. So whose side is the Lord on in court cases condemning Israel for genocide?
This is the same God who wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah for all their abominations. Abraham bargained with God to save the cities.
Genesis 18 v 23 - 26: "And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes."
In verse 32 it says that God promised Abraham that He would not destroy Sodom if only ten righteous people were found there. There was no hope of saving that place and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were burned to the ground.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He saved eight righteous people before sending the flood that wiped out the rest of Earth's inhabitants. Plan B had to replace it and that was His Cross to bear. Our God could only accept a completely pure, sinless sacrifice for sin. His Son. Nothing else could eliminate it.
But those who are born again are alive forever more. Our eternal life has already begun. We must maintain our pure holiness by living righteous moral lives. We must all stand before God's Judgment Seat in Heaven, so yes all roads lead to Heaven but Jesus is our Judge. If we have carried on a sinful life while assuming salvation is achieved, Jesus can say, I never knew you! Depart from me you worker of iniquity. Even if you have prophesied and done miracles in His name yet betrayed Him like Judas. The night comes in the form of eternal darkness.
All this to say do not judge Israel for clearing Hamas out of Gaza. There tunnels, their headquarters, are under schools, hospitals, homes. They refuse to send the hostages home. Israel is going to find those tunnels and rescue them. Only twenty are still alive. Their captors will be eliminated. Maybe Hamas look at the destruction of Gaza with shock at what their atrocities brought about.
The Palestinians who voted them in to rule must also regret it. None of the Arab countries round the region will take in any of them or support them. The compromised Western nations like UK, France, Canada, Australia are recognising the state of Palestine and condemning Israel. Their night is coming too.
I would love to speak about a great future ahead but this world is on a slippery slope and facing an
unknown quantity of hardships that compound upon each other. Like the huge hurricane Erin off the east coast of the USA. Or the fires in Spain and Greece, the earthquakes every day, solar flares - the unpredictability of each day. There is a darkness coming upon this Earth which cannot be stopped.
The British have seen the light. Many are protesting against illegal foreigners usurping power in their country and are pushing back on foreign flags being waved in their streets. Give Britain back to the British. Thousands waving the British flag are marching in the city streets.
British Christians have also started marching for Jesus and for Christianity to be recognized as what their nation stands for. The youth have started thronging the Churches and stadiums are filling up with joyful Christians and many being saved. It took the approaching darkness to bring them to the Light.
The universities in the USA continue to show crowds of Christians flocking to worship with many being baptized when they find out that baby baptism is a meaningless tradition.
So, dearly beloved saints, pray for Godly wisdom on future plans, expenditure, vacations, and changing jobs. The hope that "this too shall pass" may start to wear thin. Jesus is always with us. He said troubles cannot be avoided but if we call upon Him He will help us. He has not lost the recipe for manna!
The Church is waiting for the Rapture to take us out before things get really tough. This is the belief of the Pre-Trib Rapture. I believe the Church will go through the first half of the Tribulation because that is the perfect time for the world revival. When the darkness comes the saints will know the end is nigh. Then the Holy Spirit will pour out upon us the power and the glory to bring in the converts.
Like Peter's shadow in Acts 5 v 14 - 16: "And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one."
This is something to look forward to! The great revival! Sinners and backsliders will be desperate to get their lives right and people will be healed, delivered of demonic oppression and filled with the Holy Ghost and fire. The Antichrist will be here but still on a charm offensive. Man of Peace, benevolence, wisdom. Beloved of all the world.
The Rapture will occur just before the second half of the Great Tribulation begins. It is called the Wrath of the Lamb. The first half is called The Beginning of Sorrows. Believers in Jesus will not have to face His Wrath, but those who have rejected Him will see the Lamb become a raging Lion.
The Antichrist will enter the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God. The eyes of the Jews will be opened to Jesus, their Messiah, and they will flee to Jordan, where millions of New Testaments hidden in caves, await their arrival.
In Revelation it says the darkness will be absolute, the Sun will stop shining. No doubt this will be because the volcanic calderas will have erupted. These mega volcanoes will have such huge ash clouds that the Sun will be blotted out for years. Crops will fail, famine will be global. Diseases will be out of control along with the weather, the lack of financial stability, while the mania of the Antichrist fights his last losing battle against the King of Kings.
We do not want to be here for this showdown. The menaces to our society like warmongers, paedophiles, drug cartels, sex slavery, dictators, psychopaths, false prophets and hypocrites will have to face their judgment and just punishment. They can still be converted but it will mean instant death from the Beast, the False Prophet, the Antichrist and his One World Church.
We know where we are going when the time comes and that is our comfort in these last days. Our best plan is to stay very close to Jesus and try to bring as many with us as possible. That is the perfect will of God for this planet.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, the only good news is that Jesus is coming soon, and no amount of prayer is going to stop what's coming down the tracks. Help us to be steadfast in our faith, honest in our ministry, full of love and compassion for those around us. Let us bring in the sheaves O Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
