Revelation Knowledge

Scripture: Ephesians 1 v 17 -18:
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened: that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints."

Our Father wants us to know Him through spiritual revelation, because He is a Spirit and can only be known when we seek Him in the same manner.  Paul spent 3 years after His conversion alone in the desert with God.

He first counted as dung every lie he had ever been told about Jesus, plus all the laws the Pharisees had laid on him together with every teaching of theirs.  He renewed his mind according to the Word of God.  He became a new creation in Christ.

Philippians 3 v 6 - 8: "Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7  But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,"

It takes wisdom to discern Him in Spirit but it opens your spiritual eyes to know what His true calling for you is, which He hopes you will achieve.  It takes an active seeking of personal knowledge of God to make a relationship with Him.  Yes, we may know Him through the Bible, but to personally know the Author and Finisher of our faith, is far more meaningful.

Paul learned the truth about Jesus through revelation as it says in Galatians 1 v 11,12 and 16: "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12  For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
16  To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:"

He did not discuss with anybody, nor question them, he asked God the Father to reveal Jesus Christ to him.  He was shown what the Law of Moses was for.....a way to show Israel her guilt and sin, that she may cry out for salvation.  At which point God sent His Son but John 1 v 10 - 11 says, "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not."

Israel never accepted Jesus as her Messiah nor Saviour, the Pharisees made sure of that despite over 300 Old Testament prophecies being fulfilled in one Man.  However, Paul knew it by revelation and became the greatest Apostle and teacher of the gospel, writing most of the New Testament as a blessed legacy for us.

The highest and best achievement of His children is when His perfect will is done on Earth as He sees it in Heaven. When we maintain a holy lifestyle, walking in love towards one another, united in prayer and obeying sound doctrine, seeking deeper revelation and knowledge of God and Jesus.

James says wisdom comes when you ask God for it. As long as you ask in faith without doubt and wavering, you will receive wisdom. You kill it when after it has been given you say "I wonder if this is really from God?" Rather rejoice that He has opened your heart and eyes to understand deeper things.

It opened my eyes to much more spiritual reality and the treasures have never stopped coming. When you enter into the heart of God you have found true wealth. It enables you to know others in a deeper way to be able to minister to them as Jesus would. He is able to give you spiritual knowledge to help them be free or healed of bad memories of hurts and tragedies.

We need all the treasures in His storehouse to be able to make a real and permanent difference in the lives of those He sends our way. You don't need a degree in theology to minister to people. In 1 John 2 v 27 says:
"But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in Him."

We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit every minute of every day so we may stay connected to God for wisdom and revelation teaching. He is fully trustworthy and true. God hates lies so there will be no untruths in His revelations. The end result is that we abide, or stay, secure in Him.

In the sorrow we feel about the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the shock of such a senseless murder, one Intercessor received this scripture as soon as she heard of it.
John 12 v 23 - 24: "And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."

The global reaction to the death of Charlie Kirk can be likened to these words.  It has glorified Jesus Christ in an amazing way.  It has electrified the gospel so that fence-sitters waiting for "a sign" have come alive in Christ.   Charlie is like this corn of wheat that has fallen into very fertile ground and is bringing forth much more fruit than even he thought possible.

God does not have problems, He has plans that are very strategic.  The enemy wanted to shut Charlie up because to the Father of Lies all truth is wrong.  He found a person he could influence and used him or her to take him out.  However, our God has showed Satan just how stupid a move that was.  Not only has everybody condemned it but it has opened their eyes to Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world.

Let this be revelation knowledge to us all and let us pray for this momentum to continue to gather strength and millions of souls into the Kingdom of God.  For those who love to see the faithfulness of God bringing forth more fruit, there is still Israel to have her eyes opened to know Her Messiah.

Zechariah 12 v 8 - 10: "In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
9  And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10  And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."

What a prophetic revelation Zechariah had concerning these end times.  The eyes of Israel will be opened when The Antichrist enters the Holy of Holies in the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem to be built on the site of the Dome on the Rock.  He will declare himself to be God their Messiah and they will know he is the imposter and that Jesus was their true Saviour.  They will flee to Jordan and  The Battle of Armageddon will follow.  Jesus will arrive in His Second Coming and destroy that army and rescue Israel.

In Proverbs Solomon encourages us to seek wisdom and understanding; to lean not on our own understanding but trust in the Lord. This is how we find favour with God and man so let us obey these words and be blessed.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, You are so vast that the Earth is Your footstool. Our finite minds struggle to know You but through revelation in our spirit we know Your love for us, Your hopes for us to fulfil our true calling. We pray this day for our eyes to be enlightened with Your wisdom so we can find favour with You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
