Scripture: 1 Kings 9 v 4 - 5: "And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel."
Revelation 20 v 4: "And I saw thrones, and they that sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years."
King David was a man after God's own heart who knew he wasn't perfect. He confessed his sins often and freely repented of them. He had a wonderful relationship with the Lord, and God promised him that his Throne or dynasty would last forever.
On both sides of the genealogy of Jesus i.e. through his mother Mary and father Joseph, David is an ancestor. Jesus had to be born before AD70 when the Roman General Titus destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem.
Jesus had to be able to prove His lineage as recorded in Matthew 1. All the tribes and descendants from Adam were recorded on the walls of the Temple. So once it was destroyed Jesus would not have been able to trace His origins. There is a prophecy in Daniel that pinpoints the exact time the Messiah of the Jews will live and die in Israel, which is before the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem.
Daniel 9 v 26: "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined." The destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple (sanctuary) took place in A.D. 70. The Prince was Caesar and his people were Titus and his army. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, had to come before this date.
The Millenium, which is the 1000 years of Peace after Jesus returns to Earth, is also known as the Throne of David. Jesus will ascend the Throne of David and rule the nations from Jerusalem during the 1000 years of restoration of the Earth. The oceans will be cleansed of the debris, junk, pollution of plastic, oil and nuclear waste, dumped there by man. The air will be pure, the rivers unpolluted.
The names of David's immediate forefathers is enlightening. Boaz - his name means "In him is strength" bore Obed which means "Serve" who begat Jesse meaning "Wealth" who begat David which is "Beloved". Therefore in Jesus Christ is power and strength to deliver wealth to His beloved servant. Ruth 4 v 21-22.
The apple of God's eye is Israel and He will always bless her. No less will He bless us who are in the Body of Jesus for He has an everlasting covenant with us. (Jeremiah 31 v 31). We will be raptured (caught up) to meet Him in the sky and return to Earth to rule with Him on the Throne of David.
Zechariah 2 v 8 - 10: "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD."
The Lord refers to Israel as the apple of His eye meaning the one He loves most. Let us not be confused because Israel is the Bride of Christ, the Lamb's wife, as stated in Revelation 21 v 9 - 12. The New Jerusalem is made up of the twelve tribes of Israel. The twelve gates of the city are made of pearl.
The Bridegroom is Jesus Christ. John 3 v 29: "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled." These words are spoken by John the Baptist who had just baptized Jesus in the Jordan River and declared Him to be the Lamb of God.
The Bridegroom, Jesus is the Head, is complete after the Rapture of His Body to meet Him in the sky.
Revelation 13 v 8-9: "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear."
Before Genesis, before Adam and Eve, Jesus was slain when He left Heaven to rescue His Bride who was kidnapped by Satan. He was the Ransom for her. Satan had an agenda as he wanted to usurp authority over the whole universe and be God. He brainwashed the kidnapped Bride into killing Jesus and sent His head back to God the Father.
His Body was shattered into pieces. At the Last Supper Jesus broke the bread and said "This is My Body which was broken for you." Every person in that room was a Jew. He was trying to stir their memories of the truth because Ecclesiastes 1 v 10 - 11: "Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after."
When Jesus came to Israel in John 1 it says...He came unto His own but they did not receive Him. The brainwashing is as strong as ever. The Rapture of the Church is for His Body and Head to be rejoined at the beginning of the Marriage Feast of the Lamb. The complete Bridegroom will leave the Feast to fetch His Bride at the Battle of Armageddon. (You do not have to believe this revelation to be saved but it is the absolute truth and puts things into the proper perspective. Even the hostages in Gaza right now are a memory being stirred for Israel for Israel to recognize Him.)
We Gentiles are fragments of His Body, now called souls. He took her sin on Himself when He left Heaven to be her Ransom. He was tortured, beaten, mocked by Satan. Slain by His Bride, and his body blown to pieces. Everything we suffer here is because of that time. That's why we are forgiven so easily. No penance. Israel suffers too because Satan still thinks he is winning. This planet is a hospital for the broken fragments to be healed and cleansed for eternity.
The Bridegroom is now ready to fight the battle of Armageddon and finally rescue His Bride from the Antichrist and his hordes that want to destroy all Christians and Jews. They will be wiped out or sent fleeing. Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, all Antisemites, your days are numbered.
When we understand exactly who we are and why we are here on Earth, our true purpose becomes clearer. The pursuit of material goods and worldly wealth diminishes and our focus turns to doing the will of God to save His people while it is yet light. The time of the Throne of David is coming ever nearer, we must be ready.
Prayer: Heavenly Father the rise of fanatical Islamists and Interfaith tell us how close we are to the end of this age. We long for the Rapture to join the true born again believers to Jesus before coming to defeat satan and his followers in the battle of Armageddon. Then we will reign with Jesus for 1000 years of peace on the Throne of David. In Jesus' name. Amen.
