Scripture: Luke 4 v 18: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,"
This is the scripture Jesus read from the scrolls of Isaiah chapter 61 when He stood in the Temple. The whole of Israel need to heed these anointed words right now. Israel needs inner healing desperately to be free of the pain they have been through in the past few years.
Jesus was anointed to heal the brokenhearted and set free those who are bruised. These are not your common, everyday bruises, but deep injuries to the soul that linger for years. Post traumatic stress syndrome fits into this category. Certainly the freed hostages and all Israel have been under extreme stress.
These long term painful memories produce inner scars that create emotional or mental turmoil that no amount of counselling can reach and heal. They apply to many, not just Israel.
Men and women in the military have battle scars and a condition known as PTSD. This is the result of being in danger and fear of death for long stretches of time. It produces paranoia and adds painful memories into the mix.
There is a demon called "Memory Recall of Hurts" that is linked with Bitterness. The key to healing is to forgive the person who hurt you. The only person troubled by bitterness is yourself. That demon brings back those bitter memories of events that happened in the far past as if it happened moments ago.
The sounds, smells, emotions, sights, words are as fresh as when it first occurred, and the continuous replay button is activated. The feelings of pain, anger, sorrow, helplessness and bitterness are fully recharged and the PTSD is back in control of your sanity. The demon is wrecking your life and Jesus wants to set you free. Today. I interpret PTSD as Pain, Torment, Satanic Deception.
We need to do spiritual forensics on Satanic Deception to first understand this phenomenon, and second find a permanent solution to it. Unless you understand what is happening you cannot begin to deal with it. Think of a person suffering from anorexia. They starve themselves because they think they are obese. Yet they are skin and bone and killing themselves.
Why do they not see what others see? Because Satan deceives them. In a manner we cannot comprehend like a trick mirror at a fun fair where we see ourselves as fat and dumpy or tall and skinny and have a good laugh. In our mind Satan plants a mirror that constantly tells us we are obese. We see ourselves through this inner lens and nobody can tell us different. Only through the ministry of Jesus can the damage be undone.
The deceptions lodged in our subconscious are so overwhelming that the Lord has to wipe our memories of the fear and stress. Jesus sends in His anointed ministers to help those victims mend. It can happen all at once in a miracle or over time in stages. People going through divorce or bereavement also need compassion and healing for the bruises on their hearts.
People are in prison or mental homes because these memories have caused them to do crazy things and be unable to cope with life at all. Jesus died to set us free of demonic strongholds that oppress us. When we do the forensics we can be free of PTSD and other awful syndromes, diseases and invasion of our souls.
Alcoholics and drug addicts are tormented by surreal nightmare memory experiences. They have found a way to "self-medicate" until they can smother those memories into oblivion for a while. Until they start up again and the cycle of self-destruction continues. Rehabilitation is difficult for many because the root of the problem can only be eradicated by inner healing prayer where Jesus can reboot the mind and change the subconscious memories through His Word. There is power in the healing Blood! The Blood of Gethsemane when Jesus was in torment facing the Cross. He sweated blood. Inner Healing type blood for us.
I am praying for each person who is suffering from subconscious memories, needing heavy drugs to suppress these feelings. Also to stop the need for suicide or to shoot or stab innocent bystanders because voices in your head compel you to do it.
Hold your hand over this blog page until you feel the peace of God that passes all understanding. Forgive whoever or whatever torments you. Not just mentally but from the heart. Call on the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and ask Him to set you free.
Matthew 18 v 34 - 35: "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses." Words of Jesus.
Completely and utterly forgive them because your bitterness blocks you from receiving God's forgiveness from your sins. And those sins are Satan's calling card to make your life a living Hell.
Mark 11 v 25 - 26: "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."
When you have done what Jesus has said receive your complete healing and release from pain and pressure. Rebuke Satan and his demons and command them to release you ....in Jesus' name.
Every person in need of inner healing has unique combinations of stress, emotions, memories and fear. They may find it difficult to communicate. The counsellor needs all the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be able to penetrate to the heart of the matter. Victims of rape or children who have been molested bury this pain very deeply.
This is why they only start revealing their pain twenty or thirty years later. It's like a deeply embedded splinter that works its way to be visible under the skin. The Holy Spirit gifts of word of knowledge, word of wisdom, discerning of spirits, miracles, faith, and healing are needed to reach those deep hurts. Intercessors, deliverance ministers, and prayer warriors are the best type of ministers to deal with those needing inner healing.
Luke 6 v 38: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Give peace, healing, love, time, support, finance to meet other's needs and our God will ensure that your own needs will be abundantly supplied.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, The Anointing of the Holy Spirit is upon me as I write these words and pray in tongues for those readers who struggle with inner pain. Lord, meet these needs and set the captives free. Thank You, Lord for Your love and mercy. In Jesus' name. Amen.
