Mysteries

Scripture:  Ephesians 3 v 3 - 6: " How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4  Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5  Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6  That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"

One of the real mysteries about Jesus was the ability of God the Father to send over 300 prophecies concerning every aspect of Jesus's life from conception to Ascension to Heaven.  And for every one of them to be accurate and fulfilled in exact time.

We know the Father put all the seeds or eggs in Eve's womb.  The mystery begins after the Flood.  Only 4 wives were on the Ark.  Because there is a concerning problem of Jacob having 12 sons and no daughters it was necessary to parachute two Gentile women called Rahab and Ruth into the bloodline.  They were obviously the "bearers of the seed" who would become Jesus Christ, the Saviour.

They were part of the Bloodline from Adam to Jesus.  That same lineage must have passed through one of the wives on the Ark.  None of their names are even known, but everyone else was wiped out.

Genesis 3 v 14 - 15: "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

After Satan beguiled, deceived, enticed Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, God's anger was unleashed upon him.  And on her.  Verse 15 refers to the Cross and the aftermath.  When Jesus was in Paradise, or Abraham's Bosom, a compartment of Hell, he bruised Satan's head in the beating He gave him.  Satan had injured Jesus, bruised His heel, during His trial and crucifixion.  Satan had no power to kill Jesus!

John 10 v 17 - 18: "Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

The judgment was that there would always be enmity between Eve and Satan, and between her seed and his.  His seed are those who follow him and refuse to repent or acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God.

While they are in the enemy camp they are the enemies of God and of believers in Jesus.  We were all once enemies of God but Jesus made reconciliation for us through His death.  We need to share this with His other enemies to convert them into His Kingdom.

Sarah, the wife of Abraham, was the bearer of the seeds for the rest of mankind.  There was one specific seed that was to be born, her son, Isaac, but she made her own plan.  Her maid, Hagar, had to bear Abraham's child as Sarah was over the age of bearing children.  She was 90 years old.

This child was called Ishmael, who fathered twelve sons, which became the patriarchs of the Arab tribes that fight against Israel today.  Isaac's son, Jacob, also had twelve sons which are the patriarchs of the twelve tribes of Israel to this day.  Ishmael tries to assert through the Arab tribes today that he is the firstborn of Abraham and therefore should inherit God's blessing.  Including ownership of Israel, the Promised Land.

Romans 9 v 6 - 9: "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7  Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8  That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
9  For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son."

To me the unsolved mystery is how did the seeds pass to the wives?  If Jacob had 12 sons, and no daughters, how did the lineage through Isaac and Rebecca, his parents, pass to the wives of the next generation?  Yet somehow it did!

Sarah was the promised one but she was convinced she could never bear.  It takes great faith but when we look into our fleshly minds for solutions, they seldom work out in our favour.  Never mess with God's plan.  Adam and Eve did and this planet has suffered the consequences.  Not even the brightest minds know how to solve the corruption, pollution, war, cruelty, poverty, famine inherited from the past.

Not only that but God even sent the seed that would become Jesus into two Gentile women, Rahab and Ruth, to be carried on down the line.  It just cannot be rationally explained.  It could only have been done in Heaven before the chosen women unknowingly carried that one perfect seed that would be God the Father's only begotten Son.

Jeremiah had part of the answer.  Jeremiah 1 v 4 - 5: "Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Before we were formed in our mother's womb, God knew us as individuals and gave us specific things to accomplish.  Mary, the mother of Jesus, was not even married when she became pregnant through the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit.  She was almost stoned to death for adultery, being already betrothed to Joseph.

She had been chosen before her own birth and the one specific seed was in her womb.  It is awful to think how many potentially mighty people never made it to birth because of abortion.  Truly one of Satan's most destructive tools.

Thankfully, Jesus made it and became our forever role model of the New Creation.  To follow Him you need to change to become like Him.  Believe in Him and do what He says.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, Your ways are far above our ways.  All Your thoughts are higher than ours.  You solve all mysteries and bring about miracles.  Thank You Father, we appreciate You.  We love the revelations you give us.  Help us to know You more.  In Jesus' name. Amen.
