Praying Always

Friday March 1

Scripture: Ephesians 6 v 18; James 5 v 15-16; 1 Corinthians 14.

The last powerful part of God's Armour protecting us is to pray for all other saints. That is NOT praying to dead saints which is forbidden in scripture but praying for born again Christians everywhere to stand firm. There are only three kinds of people God sees. The born again saints; sinners in need of salvation; and Jews, His chosen people. He sees no colour or nationality, no borders or countries. (Psalm 33 v 13 - 15).

The only country He gave borders to is Israel which stretched from the Med to the Euphrates River, including Gaza and the West Bank.  (Joshua 12 -21). So those squeezing her out of God's inheritance will regret it.

Praying in the Spirit is when you pray in tongues. It is when Jesus in your heart sends forth prayer in an unknown tongue to His Father through the Holy Spirit. He will give us the interpretation if we ask Him for it. You receive the gifts of tongues when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit.  So everyday make time to pray for the saints in the Body of Christ and especially pray in tongues.

This completes the whole armour and if you put this on daily there is nothing the disarmed, unprotected, defeated conman, the devil, can do to you. So be bold, be strong for the Lord our God is with you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father when we commune with You intelligently and make requests for many needs, You speak back and give amazing answers for which we praise and exalt You. Please teach us to be effective prayers. In Jesus' name. Amen.
