Scripture: John 3 v 3
Born again does not mean reincarnation which is an occultic teaching! Jesus says we must be born again or we cannot understand the Kingdom of Heaven. As sinners we may think God will relent and everyone will go to Heaven but the truth is that if we do not completely remove every tiny hint of sin we will spend eternity in Hell. But how do we do this?
God knew we would be dead in our sins. Sin brings misery, poverty, corruption, disease and death. So God sent His perfect sinless Son, Jesus Christ, to tell us and show us how to overcome sin. He was crucified and took our sins, diseases, death on Himself as He died. His last words were "It is Finished".
Our part is to believe that Jesus is God's Son who freed us from sin so we could become spiritually alive again. We must repent ie change our minds about our sinful ways; ask God's forgiveness and He will cleanse every sin from us by the Blood of Jesus. Then we invite Jesus into our heart. Thank Jesus we are now born again. It is a free gift from God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me my sins. I forgive those who have hurt me. Cleanse me with the Blood of Jesus. Jesus come into my heart and be my Lord. Amen. (You are now born again and cleansed of every sin; your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.)
