Jesus said that following Him is the ONLY way to the
Father because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus never lied about anything. The Holy
Bible is man's yardstick of truth throughout all ages.
He is the way. He not only came to teach us about the
love of God but He was the fullest expression of that love through His death
and resurrection. The most noble heroes are those who put their lives on the
line to save and protect others. The firemen who risk their lives to save
people trapped in a burning building; the soldiers who go into battle to
protect those at home; selfless strangers who brave the odds to save a life.
Jesus is the most noble of all. He tasted death for
everybody. He took on the deepest darkest death - eternal separation from our
Father in Heaven, and conquered it for us all. He won the opportunity for every
soul to find the only way to Heaven, the way through His own death and
resurrection. It is called the way of the Cross.
The way is not through Mary his earthly mother; nor
through any religion, ritual or faith in any other god or name. The way is
through Jesus, and only through His name are we saved. Acts 2 v 21-41.
Jesus is the truth. His whole lifestyle, words, miracles
and presence are the absolute truth for He is God and He is of God and God is
truth. The Bible is Jesus in written form. He is called the Word of God. The CV
of Jesus Christ is the Bible. He came into a corrupt world and shone the light
of truth and was hated for it.
He called the religious leaders, Pharisees, utterly evil.
They were rich, self-righteous, blind leaders of the blind and they had Jesus
crucified because He showed them up. There are thousands of cults today, some
large and well known, who are built on the example of the lies of the
Pharisees.
All religions are based on lies and half-truths.
Christianity is based on the truth about God, Jesus, Heaven, satan, hell,
demons, sickness, money, love and every aspect of human existence. God sent
Jesus to confound all falseness and bring truth.
Jesus is the life. Those who know Jesus and follow Him
truly experience life differently from those who don't. In John 10v10 He says
that the thief ie satan comes to kill, steal and destroy (our lives) but that
He has come to give us life more abundantly. Abundance means more than enough.
More abundantly means more than more than enough! Overflowing abundance!! Life
that flows with spiritual, and material wealth. Satan takes away and distorts
what little we have left. When we, through Jesus, overcome him we experience
real life. Drug and alcohol free; tobacco free; sin free life.
So back to our roots is the answer. Fast and pray to have
the faith that was once delivered to the apostles. Come out from among them
says the Lord, and be separated unto Me. Let us uproot the worldliness that has
overwhelmed the church and our lives and become radical followers of Jesus. Let
us sacrifice the life of unrestrained pleasure for the submitted life of
dedication to the One who is the ultimate Hero.
