Scripture: Hebrews 5 v 12 - 14:
"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye
have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles
of God; and are become such as have a need of milk and not of strong meat. For
every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a
babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by
reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
These 3 verses are vital for those who want to go deeper
into the heart of God and the mind of Christ. These verses are the crossroads
you must negotiate to enter into a higher calling or otherwise remain a pew
sitter.
Life is all about choices and while the Holy Spirit is
strongly moving, cast your vote. If you lack the courage to launch out by faith
you will be considered a baby Christian and have to be content with milk rather
than spiritual meat.
In John 4 when Jesus had his discourse with the Samaritan
woman at the well, He told His disciples that He had meat they knew nothing
about. We need to find that meat which will accelerate our spiritual growth.
One of the serious flaws in preachers today is the safety
of the oracles of God. These are the baby steps of repentance, faith,
salvation, sermons which are the milk of the Word. When you launch out into the
deeper things of God you enter into a feast of strong meat.
I heard a fictional story a while back where two angels
were asking each other what Jesus' disciples were able to achieve after 2000
years of Christianity. They were shocked to hear that no one has reached the
stage of being able to curse a fig tree yet!
Sadly, spiritual authority is still hampered by fear and unbelief.

was achieved because we dared to believe God for greater things - we had to let go of the side of the pool and dive into the deep end. Sure it was scary at times but Jesus exercised all our senses to discern good and evil. We saw all the miracles because we chose to let go and let God. Jesus gave me the verse "I have never seen such great faith" to encourage us!
This miracle was when the Lord Jesus opened a door in the
Spirit for us to minister to a deeply comatose Karen Ann and lead her to
salvation in Jesus. She was 12000 miles away from us but could hear me and
communicate back to me. The Lord also included every comatose person to hear
her get saved and told us afterwards that 5000 people had got saved with
her!
We need to stretch our faith and build up the muscles to
walk on water like Peter did. When you shun the strange doctrines and practices
some churches engage in and you are truly led of the Holy Spirit, the power of
God will transform your life forever. The full use of the gifts of the Holy
Spirit will bring spiritual maturity and great rejoicing into your life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father there are many who long to launch
out into Your depths but are afraid to take that leap of faith. I pray they
find the courage and enjoy the abundant fruit they will surely find. In Jesus'
