Ephesians 5 v 14 -16: "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
Today the Lord has impressed this prophecy from France's Roberts upon me to alert you to your real purpose as His follower. He needs you to take your proper place in His kingdom, and fulfil the work only you can do. Jesus needs you to redeem the time or make up for lost time so there will be no regrets.
If you have no idea what God requires of you then it is time to listen more attentively to His voice. Read Deuteronomy 28. The first fifteen verses are the blessings of obedience, and the rest of the 68 verses are the curses for disobedience. Our God is making it very clear what to expect from Him, and what He expects of us!
When Jesus took your sins upon Himself He did not give you the right to keep on sinning and all is automatically forgiven as some preachers of grace and supergrace would have you believe. In Hebrews it says that if you keep on sinning you will be forever lost because you are crucifying the Son of God afresh.
Hebrews 6 v 4-6: "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."
He wants us to have the abundant life in all its fullness, to enjoy fellowship with Him and other believers, and be an example to the lost who may see the light you shine and find their way back to Jesus. But if you never change your ways they will never know, and if you are the only light they will ever see, how will you answer to Jesus when they are forever lost?
I write these messages in obedience to the Lord in the hope that as many people as possible can be reached with the truth about Him, His Bride, Heaven, Hell and salvation. I pray for everyone who reads this blog for the absolute love and power of Jesus to flow through you to all the people around you. I pray that the Holy Spirit can touch and bring them all into the light.
You are the vessel Jesus wants to fill to overflowing. Only you can block it from happening. Do not have any regrets when you stand before His Throne. Don't let him read the words of Frances Roberts written above to you, to your shame. Think of that day and get committed to whatever small or large task He has for you, knowing that He will equip you and empower you every step of the way.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, this is the word on Your heart today, Father, please make it a reality to every reader. Exhort them and bless them to make Jesus known among those who even curse His name. Let them stand up for Jesus, even if they are ridiculed, because if we confess His name to them, He will confess our name to You on the day of Judgment. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
