From Heaven With Love

Scripture: John 3 v 27: "John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven."

John the Baptist discovered a profound truth that nothing pertaining to God originates on Earth.  Everything worthwhile is Heaven sent.

Every God-given blessing comes from above.  All answers to prayer directed to our Father are beamed from above.  We ourselves come from there.  We are aliens on this planet, not evolving from single cell species from the ocean or from a transition from apes.

We worship, praise and give thanks to a Heavenly Being who is the Father of us all.  He knows the exact number of hairs upon our individual heads and is delighted when we spend time in His wonderful presence.

Our Father inspires us to be creative and skilful and lovingly admires our efforts like any parent would.  He hates our fleshly bodies even though He made them.  They are only for life on Earth and He rejoices in the death of His saints because that is when they come home to Him.  He longs for us just as we long for family living far off.

He has great plans for us that get downloaded as we draw near to Him and show our willingness to carry them out His way.  He can't bless the things we add, only the things which originate in Heaven.

This can cause us confusion because we think we have the answers and skills to work things out.  We forget that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and need to reel our minds in and allow Him to control things.  When we truly let Him be God amazing things start to happen.

Sometimes we feel like we have been thrown in the deep end and have to learn to swim out of trouble.  We need to call on the name of Jesus and He will help bring us to safety.  He gave Moses power to stretch his rod over the Red Sea.  God supplied the wind that blew the ocean apart so the Israelites could escape from Pharoah and his army.

The water of the Red Sea closed over those pursuers and horses and riders drowned while the Israelites on the Saudi Arabian shore danced and sang for joy.  God sent food from Heaven called Manna every day except the Sabbath for the forty years they wandered in the wilderness.  He caused water to flow out of rocks in the desert to satisfy millions of people and animals.  It was another Heaven sent miracle.

Many of His people believe that medical science and academic learning has progressed the point that God is not needed to heal the wounds of men or sort out their problems.  A few years ago my oldest son, Sean, had a severe cycling accident falling off his mountain bike in an area where vagrants dwelt.

He broke the two bones of his left forearm so cleanly that they pierced right through his skin and got contaminated among the refuse and worse where he fell.  It was a long time before help came and he was taken to hospital.  During the operation the surgeon was very worried about serious infection developing in the marrow of the open bones.  He spent a long time cleaning it.

The doctor kept the wound open for a week for constant irrigation and cleansing but was very concerned about infection.  This wound was down the inside of his arm to the wrist.  He was utterly amazed that Sean never had the slightest infection, he never even had the slightest swelling nor needed even an aspirin for pain.  Titanium rods were inserted to hold the two broken bones in place.

Sean is a prayer warrior and has helped many who needed healing.  He told the doctor that the Lord had healed him, and today you can hardly see the scar.  God is able to do more than we ask or think.  We need to believe it and we will receive it.

Our memories of where we came from are gone but we will still return to Heaven if we die in the grace of God.  Sin in Lucifer caused Heaven to lose its peace and eventually caused us to be on this planet, subject to sin and under His evil power until we follow Jesus out of it.  There is no other way to get there.  No one comes the the Father except through Jesus.

We are reminded of the actual true story of Lazarus and the rich man.  The rich man mistreated the beggar covered with sores at his gate.  Eventually both died.  Lazarus was a believer who came to Abraham's Bosom or Paradise, a compartment of Hell reserved for believers in God before Jesus resurrected them.  The nasty rich man went to Hell and was in torment.

A huge chasm separated them but they could speak across it.  The rich man begged Lazarus to get word to his family to believe in God and avoid this never ending torment.  Lazarus could not help him.  The same end game is for us.  Read the Bible and follow its precepts, believe on Jesus Christ and follow Him to Heaven.

I am emphasizing and even repeating myself in an effort to reach those who may read this blog and are sitting in churches and being fed candy instead of meat.  Who feel self righteousness by attending church even if is more like a social club than a place of serious commitment to the way of the Lord.

The One World Church is gathering momentum and becoming very popular and politically correct.  Many churches have joined in because they want to avoid religious mayhem.  The target is born again Christians and Jews, those who have stood against the world and its plans.

God has separated the Jews into their own homeland but the surrounding nations want to destroy her.  Christians are continuous targets for Islamic militant groups.  But the Bible says we win over the forces of darkness so we must continue to fight the good fight with prayer and praise and preaching the true gospel.

Matthew 6 v 9 - 13: "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11  Give us this day our daily bread.
12  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."
