Scripture: John 10 v 1 - 5: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."
My Friends, it is I, Jesus, who speaks this word today, to strengthen, encourage and lead those who heed it, to separate themselves from the world and follow Me into green pastures.
The pastures are green and ready to receive the troubled, tired, hurting souls that are all around you. So many put on a brave face to hide their problems and not seem weak and helpless. So many are trapped in the chains of deceit, lies, drugs, wine and sinful sex, they are desperate to change but know not the way.
If you heed me, open your eyes and whoever is drawn to you, is drawn by Me for the purpose of liberating that soul. It is written in Luke 4 v 18 - 19: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
I do the healing but I need you to share My love, truth, justice, and power with them, to pray for them and lay your hands on them for healing and to be set free. I am in you to do this work and I will guide you in ways you will discover when you stop being afraid and start having faith in Me.
There is this great work to be done and My sheep hear My voice and obey Me. Those who turn aside from the broken and desperate souls are no longer hearing Me, because I died for these that they may live. All souls are equal in value. There is no member of My Body that is of less value than another.
If you judge them and discard them in their hour of need are you not concerned that I could do this too? Do to them as you would have Me do for you. Do you remember the wicked Haman in the Book of Esther? When the King asked him how one who should be greatly honoured should be treated he responded with
Esther 6 v 7 - 9: "And Haman answered the king, For the man whom the king delighteth to honour,
8 Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:
9 And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour."
My friends, this Haman wanted to destroy My people and thought the King was rewarding him for his clever plan, however it was for Mordecai, the uncle and mentor of Esther, that the king wanted to honour. Haman was handed to the executioners to be hung on the very gallows he had made for Mordecai.
I, the Lord, see every heart and mind and I seek those who truly love Me, who hurt when My Body hurts and go forth to rescue those who have fallen by the wayside. My friends, come closer to Me for the darkness is fast approaching and the closer you are to Me the safer you will be.
So work while it is yet light and fight the good fight. Evil is overcome by goodness. Darkness is overcome by light. To triumph over the encroaching evil you need My light and My goodness to manifest in your flesh.
I call you all by name, I love you and expect great things. I am near to help and you will never be alone. Trust Me and learn of Me, to lay down your life for your friends, put aside your own activities to meet the needs of the broken. Greater love has no man than this.
