The King of Kings

Scripture: Revelations 19 v 11 - 16: "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

We sing Yes He is the King, His name is Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Yes He is the King!  He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus is His name.

It comes to mind the day the Lord needed me to pray for a stranger in her car, a woman of Hindu faith.  I said the Lord has sent me to pray for you.  She responded by saying, I serve Lord Krishna, I said the One who sent me is the Lord of Lords so Krishna must be one of them.  She was very happy with that thought and also when her pain was gone.  Hallelujah Lord of Lords!

Jesus is the rider of the white horse, He is Faithful and True.  He is the sum of all righteousness, the beginning and the end.  He is the Word, the Living Word, the Creator of all things.  Jesus created the stars, Sun, moon, galaxies, nebulae, planets, Milky Way, this whole beautiful Earth that humans have trashed, He created all animals, bird, fish, and us.

He is the King of the Universe, and there are no other gods in His Kingdom.  The Trinity of God consists of Father, Son, Holy Spirit the three-in-one God.  They are not 1+1+1=3 They are 1x1x1=1.  They are multiplied by and exalted by each other but remain one, and if each one of us is multiplied by them we are one with them.  John 17.

Also 1 John 5 v 6 - 7: "This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

If the Bible is true then the Theory of Evolution is a myth.  That theory denies a Creator, denies Jesus, denies faith in God, denies Heaven.  It denies the virgin birth and the record of events in the Bible.  It denies that the Jews are the Apple of God's eye and the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

The unproven theory of Evolution says we were a random collection of molecules that emerged out of swamp soup and from slime became apes and eventually human.  Evolution makes Jesus a lie so we cannot believe both.

There are 333 prophecies in the Old Testament by different authors over a 3500 year span of time that proclaim of the birth, life, ministry, miracles, power, truth, death, resurrection, New Covenant, surrounding One Person, Messiah of the Jews, Bridegroom to Israel, Baptiser in the Holy Ghost.  His name is Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Yes He is the King!

Every one of those prophecies was correctly fulfilled in the coming of Jesus Christ.  The King who laid aside His heavenly crown to be born as a Man so He could know what it is like to be human.  For He was tempted in every way that we are, yet without sin.

Our evil enemy, Satan, caused the Theory of Evolution to come forth to cause many to lose their faith and purpose, to be atheistic or agnostic in their philosophy, and argue against salvation from sin, Hell, eternal death and suffering.  His agenda is to use humans to hurt God and keep the people He loves from knowing Him.

Jesus gave us His authority to overcome Satan for ourselves.  He broke him down and made an open show of him when He went down into Abraham's Bosom, Paradise, after His death on the Cross.

Colossians 2 v 13 - 15: "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

We must use this Godly authority to fight the good fight and overcome Satan ourselves.  We must overcome sin, addictions, fears, lies, temptations, wrong sexual practices, theft, fraud, false doctrines and religions, false prophets and their false prophecies (Jim Jones, David Koresh).  There is one amazing power against all this, the power in the Blood of Jesus.

As the Israelites applied the blood of lambs to the doors of their homes to protect from death in the first Passover in Egypt, so Jesus is our Passover, and He is the Lamb of God, and His Blood cleanses us of all sin.

1 Corinthians 5 v 7 - 8: "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8  Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

Our King, is the King of Kings and we are the kings He is King of!  We are a kingdom of Kings and priests! 1 Peter 2 v 9: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

We are kings and priests who are submitted to our King and the High Priest of our Faith.  Let us go forth and glorify Him who has redeemed us from Hell into the Light of Heaven.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, God of all mercy, forgive us for not living up to Your standards of holiness, love, righteousness and truth.  Help us to remove everything from our lives, homes, and minds that distracts us from our true identity in Christ.  In Jesus's name. Amen.
