Scripture: Matthew 15 v 8 - 11: "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
My calling as an Intercessor is also the calling of a Watchman. It means watching from the walls and giving warning when danger is approaching. Some dangers have been around a long time and no matter the number of warnings only a few have heeded them.
It's not easy being a Watchman because God holds you responsible if He alerts you and you don't alert those in danger. If you fail Him you will suffer the same fate as those who were lost. So please do not appoint yourselves as intercessory or watchmen, God alone chooses those who have tough assignments.
Very often we are led to do things by God that few will ever understand, but it is the fastest way of achieving His purpose so it must be done. Think of Ezekiel, a prophet and watchman of the Old Testament who had to walk naked throughout Israel for 3 years to show them that their sins had made them naked before God. Thankfully, it was a once off!
Many doctrines of man sprang from the ministry of one man who died in a car crash in 1963. His name was William Branham. He had a profound healing ministry but it emerged, from his own mouth, that he did not get this power from Jesus but from an angel that told him what to do. The Bible says Satan can appear as an angel of light, and Branham was deceived.
Someone, a pastor who studied at Rhema Bible College, gave me a pile of cassette tapes by Branham to "truly learn about Christianity". After the first minute I had to turn the first one off. His voice was like chalk on blackboard, I could not listen to him at all.
However, he was the darling of the Charismatic Church, and from his teachings the seeds of doctrines began to grow. Dan R. McConnell wrote a book called A Different Gospel, it was his thesis at Oral Roberts University in 1981. He showed that the fundamental teachings of Rhema Church were from material plagiarized by Kenneth Hagen, written by EW Kenyon.
Dan McConnell interviewed Kenneth Hagen, showing him many pages copied from the books of Kenyon, word for word. These pages were in the foundational teachings of Rhema. Hagen said that the same spirit had given those words to both men. Word for word.
McConnell went to see Mrs Kenyon, widow of EW Kenyon, who knew about the plagiarized books but they had let it go. He asked her how strong a Christian her husband had been and she told him that her husband had never been a Christian. He was a follower of Christian Science, Unity and New Truth. So the same Spirit spoke to both, but then it was not the Holy Spirit. It was not based on truth!
Branham's Angel has turned into a doctrine that we now have thousands of angels that we can each command to do things for us like heal the sick, preach the gospel, find parking, find jobs, bring in money, fight battles against demons, sort out wars, bring missing children home, and guard our homes and families.
One lady told me that she sent angels to guard her children who frequented clubs and took drugs. They were getting worse by the day. Another broke down and cried when she realised that her son was killed in a war zone when his tank hit a mine. He was the only person injured or idea. She had sent angels every day to protect him. I can share hundreds of testimonies about Angel activity none of it good.
The doctrine came from Hagen, given to Charles Capps to write it in a book and given much air by Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn and many others. It started in the 1980's and is still flourishing today, but there is a trail of misery because everyone sending angels to bless other Christians is really sending fallen angels to do the very opposite. We have no power over God's heavenly host, but Satan just loves the power Christians give him.
Jesus said to me, Everywhere these angels go, doctrines of men will follow. And there have been many. The worst one is still the Toronto Blessing with Angel Emma sprinkling gold dust over the congregation. The laughing madness, called Hebophrenia Schizophrenia, most commonly heard in asylums of the insane, is now a major feature in churches that believe this is the world revival we have been waiting for.
It spreads like a plague but its origins are extremely occultic. The laughing, roaring, screaming, hissing, barking and other animal sounds, plus weird manifestations have been entertaining and deceiving hundreds and thousands of people around the world for thirty years. The very same things are seen in Hindu religious practices, fuelled by a ruling spirit called the Kundalini. He is also known as The Force, in May The Force Be With You.
When it really starting moving in 1994 in Canada and the USA, the Lord gave me a scripture about it. Acts 27 v 10: "And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives."
The voyage referred to the Toronto, or Catch the Fire, movement, damage to lading and ship was referring to doctrines and the church, and many have died, or been injured or suffered hardship through it. And they laugh it off. The Arnotts, pastoral couple of the Vineyard Church at Toronto Airport, where "the fire" really started, told of an unnamed tragedy they suffered at the time but were able to laugh their way through it.
John Wimber head of Vineyard Church at first agreed with the Toronto Blessing, but then changed his mind and the airport church in Toronto was no longer a Vineyard Church. Not long after this John Wimber had a quadruple heart bypass and sadly died a year later.
Someone reading this blog today has been injured by Toronto or Angels and needs to hear these words. Needs to repent of sending angels ignorantly believing they are God's holy messengers. Call back every angel ever sent and cancel the command or assignment given. Send them to Jesus. Pray that any damage they caused can be corrected.
The signs of Angel activity in your life are financial loss, health issues, relationship problems, spiritual drought. Even this coronavirus could be part of Angel activity. Certainly the whole world is suffering financially, and has serious health issues. There has been huge spikes in gender violence in homes on lockdown. Real relationship problems. Churches have been closed......spiritual drought. I am actually getting this message straight from Jesus as I am writing this blog. Feeling like a Secretary.
Some years ago I received the copy of an e-mail from a person calling himself Daniel of Jerusalem who had a word from God to release millions of warring angels to stop Xenophobia in South Africa. That very same week Xenophobia broke out here, where it had not been at all. I wrote back and told him what his false angels had done. He never replied.
Ezekiel 3 v 17 - 21: "Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul."
Prayer: Heavenly Father, Very few of the words I intended to write today have appeared because You want people to know the danger all around them from the doctrines of men that have gone out of control. O God I have delivered Your words now and I pray they are heeded and acted upon. These are serious matters right now. Give us wisdom to change and do the right thing. In Jesus' name. Amen.
